Good morning all. Little wind, light cloud and a high of 24C/75F coming our way today. That's a couple of degrees down from yesterday, though still a good temperature for those that like to sit around outside. I may do just that for an hour or so to celebrate finishing all the brickwork I wanted to do this year on the west wall of the house - the rest can wait awhile. In a month's time, I will no doubt be wondering why I didn't start on the east side while the weather was good, but after many years of practise, I'm used to handling self inflicted regrets.

73 outside this AM. Heading to lower 80's with rain today. Not much done yesterday. Finished off lower sides of run in. Need to start on roof. Still no screws from HD. Well they gave it to me if you know what I mean. Dealer said he is coming this AM now for mower. That was after last nights late call, rescheduling. Grass is now out of control in front. May need a bush hog run. Kind of disappointed in services from HD and my dealership. We shall see what today brings. Later today a service for a friend and a late night airport run to Baltimore on order. Rounding up the kids again from their adventures.

Good morning all, 69 going to 80 with a 70% chance of heavy rain. Hope to get some wiring done today but as usual we will see.
Eric, good news on the brick work. I have a rule, no second guessing. Makes life more fun.

Kyle, the corn field is over 70 yards from my house, There was corn thrown all over the neighbors yard and even some on his roof that is almost 2 stories high on that end. I think he should follow your good advice.

Ed, that was a funny use of a car was to combine corn.
Puppy is having a blast. I had some calm early yesterday (4am -6am) - just me Coco, but today Arrie demanded to join in for some play during coffee time. I found out how out of shape I am when I had to run full speed all the way up the hill trying to catch her yesterday. Running is so much more demanding than hiking or cardio machines.
Eric, congrats on getting a major milestone accomplished.
Sure is sticky outside...going to 85. Getting ready to go back out for some more potty time (not me). Potty training for you, Kyle, will be free.

75 degrees only going up to 84 today, that must mean more rain this afternoon.
Warnings up for local flooding, system coming from West.
Made a big batch of chocolate brownies last night to take to food pantry volunteers this morning.
Was asked last time if I could "grow" some more of the brownies I brought them.
Well, yes I can.
Will try again talking to Amtrak about making cross country train trip to California. Really miss my old travel agent who
knew exactly what I wanted and did all the leg work up front.
When I called in to make reservation, price went up $2k from first quote. ?? That sure ended that call.
As much as I hate to fly, I might have to.
Unless I can get a cruise ship through the Panama Canal...first thought is that might be a bit pricey...
I'm guessing in two years, if I don't find a wife, I'm selling this farm and buying a compact motorhome.
Then I'll make the drive and visit everyone. But until then, California is a long way away.

Coffee is done brewing. 68° with thunderstorms this morning. Heading to 76° with heavy thunderstorms. Got .51" of rain overnight. MRI is done. Never thought I was Claustrophobic. Found out I am. First trip into machine got my heart pumping and mind wandering. Got operator to turn on some 70's music and cover my eyes. Almost slept thru the 1/2 hour in machine. Well that is except for the noise. No plans for today.

Hope and pray you get a good report. Wife is claustrophobic and asked for an open MRI. They had put it in a corner and had fake bushes up against the other side so the only opening was where she went in. :confused3: Ed
