Good morning! 74˚ to 92˚ the rains yesterday cooled things off, cloudy today with a 30% chance of more rain. Still not enough rain to get the San Gabriel rivers flowing and they just had puddles in them yesterday so I'm sure water restrictions will not be lifted.

Got a call from the Lee County Sheriffs office yesterday telling me there was a report that my cows were out. I told them I'll forward the message to the new owners, I did and he said those cows were not his. I didn't think they would be I left the fences in good shape.

Hope you have a good trip Ed and don't have too hard of a decision to make.

Wngsprd, I'll post a pic of boots after I become proficient in the two step, now I still don't feel worthy of dancing boots. Second lesson Wednesday.

Still a little sore this morning after an hour Stretch and Strength class session with Sharon Saturday after spinning. There are a lot of fit people within their BMI in this neighborhood, in the class of 30 there were 10% men who were trying to keep up.

63.1 high of 85 today lots of rain around yesterday flood adviserarys etc but here only .38 in of rain lots of rumbling though. Cleaned windows yesterday until storms that did come ran me inside. Still looking for place to hand 6foot wind chimes

Good morning all, 60 going to 80 with a 30-60% chance of heavy rain. Calling for good weather here Tuesday, good for if I am bringing a lathe home. Need to go grocery shopping and get gas in truck. Need to get wife set up on her job getting things ready to build the rack for her loom and need to get some stuff done in the garage.

Eric, VERY GOOD ADVICE. I will remember that.

what a great call to get Don, your cows are out when you can say I don't own any cows...and I don't have to run after them either.
Whipper now chases golf balls, not cows. Sounds also like you are really going to get in good shape there.
Busy folks stay busy, and you have lots of choices.
Really helpful to know when one is contemplating one's own future.

Lot of rain off the coast, Outer Banks getting hosed again.
I have a lot of mowing to do today and it would be nice if the rain went somewhere else for once.

63F cloudy upper 70's for high showers later on today.

Monday already...after work might trim bottom of couple spruce trees and putter,better have my E muffin feed little one head to the grind.

Poured first cup of coffee. 58° with some fog this morning. Heading to 84° with mostly sunny skies. Mostly relaxed yesterday. Did get dies to pipe threader sharpened on wet grinder. Now threads like it should. Going to change oil in the cars today.

Ed, got a good look at lathe on my computer this morning. Much better resolution than my iPad. That lathe has V rails. Much better than my flat rails. Clausing is a great machine with good support for older models. Good luck on your trip to view it.

Don, there are lathes for sale here over $20K. Depends on what type and model. Finding one with the gap that RNG mentioned would drive the price way up.

David, we had 4 cloths poles in a line for years here. Probably 60' total length. 4 lines for hanging. I finally took them down a couple years ago. Wife had me put up this up after removal. Cloths smell so much better dried outside.

66 and heavy fog. Going to 85 and sunny then storms. Only .3 inches yesterday, but thankful for it.

Took a rest day yesterday and only hiked in the woods and roasted coffee for a couple of hours...drinking some from Tanzania right now.

Ed, have a safe trip down to Boydton and hope the lathe is the one you're looking for.

David, too bad you didn't have a beautiful view while working on your clothesline .

64 outside this AM, heading to mid 80's. Got slammed last night with storms. Lots of burn pile branches and twigs.

Expect delivery today for my roof and siding on the run-in. Expect pickup of my mower too.

Not much else going on.

Sure was noisy around here for awhile; some of the loudest thunder I've heard in a long time, and really heavy rain started about 5:30 a.m. It's now settled down a light sprinkle but my gauge has just about an even one inch of rain in it. 74 degrees going for a high of 82 today, but the NWS thinks it'll get clear and sunny in about 2 more days.
