Good morning!!!!

Occasionally I wake up to cockerels crowing, although only if the wind is in the right direction. Usually the first sound I hear above any birdsong these light mornings is a train on the rail track that passes to within a few hundred yards of our house. Not exactly the Chattanooga Choo Choo on track 29, but not an unpleasant sound. It's been eerily quiet all weekend as the line has been closed for engineering work.

LS, hope your son has better luck this time.

Sans heels, but I raised a bunch of money by promising to put my shirt back on!:D
Really appreciate you not posting the pic Randy.
Many are still recovering from that one of Gary at his Christmas party (For anyone that didn't see it the first time - count yourself lucky https://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/files/rural-living/530619d1512401054-good-morning-24301051_10154932217936576_2047649158923957625_n-jpg )

Very cool down here in Colorado County Don. Only got to 99 today.

FedEx delivered the Worx Mower Friday afternoon. Put two batteries on charger.

Did some mowing, around areas I can稚 get the 72 Kubota into, early Saturday a.m. Then had a special Board Meeting to attend at 10 a.m. When I got back to Ranch, had lunch, then back to the Worx work. I used it in mulching mode as I didn稚 want to mess with the grass catcher being in the way ..... adding weight. There is a battery capacity indicator, on top side of Mower and I noticed that after a short time it dropped from 3 lights to two lights. Kept mowing, in not very tall or thick grass and after about an hour it dropped to one light on. Shortly there after it just quit. Removed batteries and took them to the shop to the battery charger. One battery still showed one of three capacity LEDs on. The other battery showed completely dead and was almost too hot to hold onto. Put both on charger and the not dead battery started recharge. The dead, very hot, battery showed blinking Red on charger or battery over temperature. Let it sit on bench for 30 minutes, returned to charger and still .... blinking red. I then put it in the refrigerator, in shop quarters, for about an hour. Put it on charger and got green blinking LED indicating it was charging.

This morning both batteries were solid green LEDs indicating full charge. Installed batteries back in mower and used it off and on for over an hour. The external battery capacity indicated 1 of 3 LEDS. Took batteries to shop and put both on the charger. Both indicated blinking red i.e. battery over temperature. Neither were as hot as the one battery was yesterday. Left them on the charger and will see status ma?na.

So far, I知 not disappointed in how the mower cuts, never expected the power of a 6 HP gas mower. Batteries are still questionable though. I知 going to run until it quits tomorrow, then get online with Worx, if nothing changes.

It has two power modes .... Economy and Turbo. I知 guessing, in Economy the two batteries are in parallel and in series in Turbo.

More later.

Wow! Everything may be OK and you may like and have good luck with that Worx, but I've never had anything even similar to that with my EGO.

The manual with Lynxx tools state that overheated batteries will shut down tool. Also battery will not charge until it cools down. Indicator lights on charger flash to show overheated battery. I would think Worx does the same.

Drinking first cup of coffee. 55° with a few clouds this morning. Heading to 80° with scattered clouds. Need to clean up around area where stump was removed. My arm says give me a break after yesterdays axe swinging. Then cut lawn. Another trip to Best Buy to return a item that was recommended that I purchase to get door lock hooked to WiFi. Woks great for us on Bluetooth.

Payers for Buppies, LS and Ed.

Good Morning All.

69 outside this AM. Heading to upper 70's. Rain moving in later today with off and on showers for the next few days. We do not need the water.
Yesterday was a bust. Road trip moving people around. Did manage to cut the grass when I finally got back.

Oh, was on the road stuck in traffic on I95. Tractor trailer lost wheels and part of an axle. Wheel set with axle part on one side of road, tractor and trailer on the other with a state cop.

That must have been really interesting to watch if you were behind that guy. Twilight Zone stuff. No other vehicles looked to be involved.

Have a great day all. Be safe.
