Air Fryer ordered on Prime day arrived, have to find it a home. Somewhat larger than I anticipated. Will have to try it out later.

One of my biggest complaints with our house, and some other houses, is the inadequate size of the kitchen and lack of countertop space.

Heavy showers training over us now, .84 “ in the last hour, gusty south winds 20-25 mph. Humid and just lain miserable outside.

Dealing with sore swollen knee, no idea what it is, maybe gout. Swelling isn’t as bad as in the past but the soreness and stiffness is. I’m trying to pretend it’s ok. So far the prednisone isn’t fixing it.

Randy, didn’t twist it in those heels I hope . Need to be careful.

I thought I built plenty of counter space when we built this house, but I didn’t realize it was a shrinking design. Seems to fit perfectly on the SS table next to the stove.

I will confess that after 11 years, I’m still quite pleased with our kitchen design. We made it the focal point of this unit, the dining area and living room area are just convenient to it.

Plenty of guest space (4th of July)

David, excluding stove tops and sinks how many sq. ft. of kitchen counter top space do you have? It does look adequate!

My friends in Delaware made their kitchen larger and other areas smaller, they are foodies and chefs, makes sense.

Just dumped 4 inches of water out of rain gauge. Accuwrong says 3.1 inches. Nothing like a manufacturer living up to its name...
So if Accuwrong says 40 inches of rain year to date, before this current one, then the real total has to be a lot more, maybe 48 inches so far.
60 to 70 inches a year would be nice, growing things that is. I think David gets that in a month in Hawaii some months it seems.

Can only wonder what New Mexico, or Utah or Texas and Oklahoma would look like with that much consistent rainfall. Or the Outback of Australia.
Sure would make some very cool flowers coming up for awhile. Until it was all planted in RoundupReady ethanol corn. How about bioengineering some of that corn
into something edible. I'd like a little help at the food pantry...:2cents:

Good afternoon, .73 in of rain today. Anything from a sprinkle to a good steady rain but nothing bad at all. Played out in the shop for a while and am now Just hanging out watching the boy.

David I like it too, well thought out. We visited someone once and I fell in love with her kitchen, lots of counter space and room for a 25 ft table with room to spare.

Buckeye, The Toyota place is like that, used to go to the music store but the dealer bought the building and kicked them out.

Sprayed about half the tank last night, will repeat again tonight if weather holds (2-4-D Amine). I am going to spray the bad areas with Roundup this fall and see if I can get ahead of the weeds a bit.

Wife is finally showing improvement (sinus infection, then overwhelmed with the wildfire smoke.. rough couple of days, she is doing much better now, still tired, but will soon get her energy back I think.

Good news is my hands are clean, even after messing around on tractor. It is amazing what washing dishes can do to hands.
