Ok. That could be your problem. Before I tried taking one of those apart. I would try to clean it. WD-40 or PB as well as brakekleen or starting fluid all make good cleaners for this. Spray and wipe out with shop towels. Also try a wire brush. Then reapply fluid film to implement side shaft. Might even pull collar back and spray and rotate the balls inside there.

If I remember correctly this is a new unit. So it might be a tight spring and you don’t realize that you’re not getting enough release on it. If cleaning or disassembly and cleaning doesn’t work. I’d try to shorten the spring for the second disassembly.

Good evening all. 76F this morning, mostly clear sky, light breeze. Sky clouded up again, heard thunder, no rain. Moderate wind and a high temp of 95F. Cleaning lady prep, followed by bike ride, lunch, nap, trip to town. Eye Doctor, truck shopping (looked at F-150), dinner in town then home.
PJ that is a shame about the rental house, had to make it harder on your wife if that was her childhood home:eek::thumbdown:
Don took dance lessons, all my rhythm is waist up.
Prayers for all.

That's a good possibility too...plus, since my stroke (1999), I don't have good dexterity or strength in my right hand...

69 outside this AM. Heading to low 90's today. Looks like a lawn care day and some field work maybe on order. Me and a neighbor have come to an agreement on the pastures.
Have a great day all. Be safe.

And while working on the run in the supervisor commented it is big enough for a new cab tractor.

Life is good. Day by day. LOL.

Good morning all, 65 going to 85 with a 20%--50% chance of showers-T-storms. Worked in shop yesterday and went to the grocery store. Hope to have some shop time today, will see.

Have a great day, prayers sent. Ed

Good morning! OK uncle! Oh by the way Eric that's what we used to say when we gave up - usually after being pinned by the big guy on the playground. What is the European slang of "I give up!"

Just "give in".

"Uncle Buck has some new power tools" could be quite effective on kids that have seen the John Candy film :)

Yesterday I spent most of the day in cool A/C tractor cab heaven, in the morning topping weeds and in the afternoon helping a friend to get in hay bales from a bumpy field. Today my back needs a good stretch out !

Disco dancing is something you do to meet girls. Once you finally find the right one, I can't understand why any male would ever want to do that again :confused3:

The most fun we ever had dancing was when we got into our 30's. My wife played in a badmington league and every year the players, who all tended to be very fit people, would get together at a Ceilidh (Kay-Li). These are based on traditional Gaelic Irish/Scotish gatherings where you have a band made up of fiddle, accordian, a couple of others on anything musical and most importantly a caller, whose job it is to make the impossibly complicated dance moves sound plausible once you have consumed enough alcohol. All the dances are performed in groups, the band would start up quite slow to get us started and then speed up until we got to the point where the ladies would be spun around off their feet. After a few of these wild dervish dances, they would slow it down with something like "Strip the WIllow" while all caught their breath again. I tried to find something on you tube, but the videos there are way too tame. At the end all would go home more tired than the toughest gym workout, but incredibly happy too.

Don, maybe there will be some of that atmosphere at barn dances in Sun City - only one way to find out for sure.
