254 hours and counting ...
Pain was bad enough last Thursday night/Friday morning (and I was out of prescription pain meds) that I called the vascular surgeon's office to see what they suggested and found I was ok for any OTC pain meds ... so I took a couple of Aleve which handled it.
Good day yesterday, got a lot done in the basement and fish room (relatively speaking), lots of moving around, up and downstairs repeatedly. Still having some issues with my back/neck/spine/hips ... but my legs seem to be doing better, in terms of strength.
Broke out the spirometer they gave me in the hospital a couple of days ago. Supposed to be using it daily to exercise my lungs/improve breathing capacity. Found out that I could pull 4000 ml (the max) while keeping the flow rate indicator at the low end of the scale (which is good) Kinda surprised me.
Bad night last night ... just couldn't fall asleep for some reason, not really pain. Didn't finally fall asleep until after 05:00, woke up around 10:45.
Feels like there is a taut rubberband attached between my head and collarbone ... hope that eventually loosens up some.
Coffee has mostly lost its appeal ... just not the same without a smoke.
The eastern phoebes are back ... new nest this year, about 20' further east.
Grass is probably 12" and higher in some spots, probably will not be able to start working on getting it cut down until at least Wednesday when I see the surgeon and find out what - if any - lifting restrictions I still have.
Might work a little on getting the Simplicity and Kubota ready to go today and get the lumber for the tank racks moved up to the garage.
