Good morning!!!!

   / Good morning!!!! #75,542
my seat time most mornings is rolling ever so slowly down this one degree slope to the bottom of the snow pea line
and by then the bowl is full. I use scissors to snip them off, easier to reach in with them plus less yanking on the vines.
I had a big plate of these peas last night with garlic, salt pepper and a little butter and I think I just sighed with contentment they were so good.

Part of the garden goes into part shade after 3pm, so I'm headed back out to sit in the shade with a cold Corona Light and just listen to the sprinklers
go psst psst psst psst psst psst psst psst

Interesting to hear others talk of pollen and allergies. Mine have been miserable, sneezing outside, bought another bottle of lubricant eye drops to help with the grit
that gets in and needs flushing out. Hope the rain tomorrow night will calm down the dust.

Randy- Thanks. Peg is pretty tough and she's not a complainer except for her attempts at my "supervision." She keeps leaving these hearing aid mailings at my spot at the table. Is it a hint? I have no clue:rolleyes:  That's a nifty piece of recycling old stuff to make your carryall. Nice work.

You may be right about the "supervision";); at least regarding dirt and vacuuming. For her "birthday" she got a cordless stick vac. She loves this thing. She even assembled it herself. In +40 years I never saw her able to assemble anything mechanical. I have yet to use it.:D

I came in from pruning the pear tree earlier and I found her vacuuming up my most recent debris field deposited indoors. It's not too bad with a run time at full power of ~20 minutes/recharge 3.5 hours. She hates the heavy, Sebo HD residential vacuum that I bought.

Drew- I really like that rolling garden seat.

We may get some "interesting" weather here later for some decent storm cells and high winds. We'll see.

Ron, is that a beautiful crane. Has one been to visit before? Do you know what type?

^^^^^^^ Ron- I was just about to post the same question. I looked it up in one of my "field" bird ID books and could not get an ID.

Around here we get Great Blue and Green Herons; and an occasional egret.

It’s a young Sandhill Crane. They spend most of their time at a neighbors place to the east of me. I can hear them almost everyday. They come to my place to feed on the lawn.
Here Is a video of their call.

Good evening all, 90 outside, just got back from the grocery and pharmacy. Ran by Lowes and got a faucet for the kitchen sink. I bet the old one was here when the house was new 50 years ago. Now just need to put it in.

Ron, thanks for the bleach tip tip. :) Need to work on the back fence.

Randy, RIP and LS, prayers sent your way. Ed

greeted by four foot long black snake that looked just like a coral snake but without the red, on my driveway sunning itself today.
Black with bright 1/2 inch wide gold cigar band about every two inches on the snake. Can't identify, any ideas?

Hope you got new hoses and valves if it is that old. I don't care for plumbing.

We had 1.18” of rain today, things will really start to grow. My Aunt is already digging potatoes and we had some hot air FF with them. I planted about 2 weeks later than she did so by mid May mine should be ready.
Drew here is another berry bush pic.

Saw something over in the field and got the optics and it was a very large red fox. Except the hind legs and tail were light grey, darker grey.... and they were big like a bear has his hind end higher than its shoulders. Anyone heard of anything like that. New to me and kinda creepy looking. Ed
