David/Sodamo, wow what a spread. I wanted to take a big fork and poke into the screen and try some! ;)

Worked out an understanding/arrangement with local used car place to sell my car. They are the largest in town and built their own nice building for themselves.
3rd generation, last name same as half my neighbors. And they agreed to use their dealer tag so that worked. Taking it down there tomorrow.

Then worked for about six hours in the garden, planting away. Back at it tomorrow. Some rototilling and mowing included in there.

Every time I try to put tomatoes out to harden they almost die. I gave three nice ones to my next door neighbor who was describing his three step hardening process, and he brought them back today, with chagrin, fried. But they were only outside for five hours he said. Yup. Not sure what the solution is other than getting a greenhouse next year. Peppers seem fine but
tomatoes seem to be lacking in all UV protection. As the garden club speaker said, I have shade leaves when I need sun leaves. And I thought roses were picky.

Still running quicken 2016. One change i hate, is the date entry. Used to be able to use +/- keys to change the date, was so quick and easy. They took it away, and it now sucks. Gotta type in, or bring up calendar, just to change 1 day.

Maybe i should go back to my version 6 from 1992. where's that floppy drive?

I have data in quicken back to 1989.

New neighbor up the street has a dog that likes to chase cars and motorcycles, so will have to have a talk with him about it before the gang arrives on Friday...

I recommend a mild soapy water solution in a kid's super squirter water gun...right to the eyes. Or a good trigger spray bottle. Be sure to train them for m/c's and cars. :) You will probably be saving their lives.

Wow, I need to check my place in the back lowland.....where I got poison ivy or poison oak or poison something last year while picking them. Had to take some 'roids to clear it up. The green dewberries I saw were at work in College Station. They desperately needed a drink of rainwater.

Payed my 2 youngest 1$ each to pick up rocks out of the garden. Maybe after 6 more tillings I will have most of them culled. A few small potato sized, but most much smaller. Hard on tiller tines.

My middle daughter's therapist gave her a basket of small tomato plants, and a few baby flower plants....So I had 6 more Better Boy tomatoes planted and watered by dusk.

Speaking of nice landscapes, one of my favourite gardens, are the gardens surrounding the Canadian pavilion at Epcot.

Good evening all. 36F for the start, mostly clear, light wind. Wind was slow to increase but did get up to about 15-25 near the end of the day, the few clouds clear off and high temp was 80F. Choir practice this morning, we finally got the music for the memorial service we are to sing at Sunday afternoon. Worked on those pieces and will tweak during the pre-service warmup. bike ride, then lunch, mow front and nap. Went looking at gold carts this afternoon, he did mot have any of fuel injected Yamahas, all are rented out. But we did have a good conversation on new to us golf cart. With any luck we will make a decision, and have on in the next two weeks. Also back on dog sitting duties.

Cows are not good speed motivator like BIG ANGRY dogs. I am too busy to look at speedo at those times but looks like about 28-30 MPH for a mile or two.

Prayers for all.

The Great Pyrenees chasing the truck was doing an easy 30mph Saturday night. And he was almost as big as me...

41 outside this AM. Low 50s today tearing out the porch ceiling on the agenda. That seems like a plan. Have a great day all. Be safe.

Good morning. A bit windy here this morning, anything outside not weighted down by a spare brick or two stands a fair chance of blowing off into the next field.

My arms are aching from a little too much time with a chainsaw yesterday. The good news is that I think I now know why the Stihl occasionally spits out the "quick turn" oil cap. After my recent spills I have got in the habit of tugging on the cap after each refill and yesterday I got repeated fails for it to hold tight. Poking away the small amount of sawdust in the groves around the neck and cap got it to lock up solid each time. I was cutting a lot of deadwood, producing more dust than chips, so that possibly made it more obvious. Cap cleaning is now another thing to add to the refill ritual.

Thank "u" for the extra vowel Kyle ;)

Went looking at gold carts this afternoon

Mostly, a dedicated cart for moving bullion ? Consulting work must be paying well :)

33 right now...heading up to the low 40's. At least the freezing rain and sleet have ended. Still rain and maybe a bit of snow mixed in. This is one of those situations that, if I clear the walks and drive, it'll be icy...so, I think I'll let it set for a couple days before I clear any thing
