I always liked the look of those T tops but wonder if they leaked and rattled. Must have hogged up the trunk in use.

Picking up Jag this morning. One year old brake rotors severely rusted, new ones just rust, rears were pitted. They took them off and sanded them, dirty miserable job I'm sure, and now
I just have to drive the car more, at least once a week. Otherwise in this climate, rust will return. And I thought I was safe keeping it in a garage...

I really hesitate to put this car on CraigsList due to all the crazy people replying. No other decent sales outlet in town, should probably drive it to Raleigh and sell it there.

Drew, while not 100%, I try to vet buyer via email first, using the Craigslist route, then either my email or phone # for text, finally phone before I give them an address or commitment to see. A lot more time efficient than hosting Lookie Lou’s.

He called when Mom and I were grocery shopping and said he was at the house and had finished fixing the fence but don't hurry back on his account he would leave the bill on the back porch and he took off another $50 for our inconvenience and just mail it to him whenever.

Not to get into politics but California always amuses me. A judge wants a cancer warning put on coffee because it hasn't been shown that it does not cause cancer.
Guilty till proven innocent. I would love to go out and eat with him and point out exactly what he is eating and what it does to his heart with the proof and research behind it. California would ban meat.:laughing:

Good evening all. In Kerrville, 47F this morning, clear light wind. Hi temp was 77F, wind nne at 10 increasing slightly and shifting to east, sky remained mostly sunny. Trip to Kerrville was uneventful yesterday. The group intended to start ride at 8 this morning, started closer to 8:30, two flats, but no issues after that. 71 miles and 2850 feet of climb, good tuneup for tomorrows 100 mile route. Talk at dinner tonight may not do full 100 and take a shortcut and have an 80 mile total. More head wind tomorrow will likely have people opting for the shorter route.

RNG, A new pickup truck bed built with bikers in mind.

You'd need a fifteen foot ramp to roll a bike into a bed that high, and if you put the side stand down to hold the bike up while you're getting the tie downs ready it'd go right through the floor. And those wheel notches are at least a foot too high. That's what happens when you get input from a biker instead of a motorcyclist.:laughing:

I generallly enjoy listening to the sound of rain on the roof, although hearing it again last night brought no pleasure this time as the weather keeps taking the heat from the lambs night after night without respite. Global "warming" is doing them no favours at all, only the March lion is thriving. Max is again on guard while we try to revive another in a box by the kitchen range.

Ford decided a while back that the F150 would not go on sale in the UK, saying it was too big for our roads. Someone must disagree as a few have been imported and now they will also convert them to drive on the right. New dash and steering does add a little to the price - an F150 raptor could be mine for a mere 106,800 pounds (12 cents short of $150,000)

Good morning. Rain here again. Wednesday we levelled, spread grass seed and then rolled the kids play area, that had been a vegetable garden before, so was all uneven ground. Then, Wednesday night, I came down with a sudden, acute, middle-ear infection. I sufferred for most of the night-- Tylenol didn't help-- finally at 5:30 I saw a neighbor was active on Facebook, so went and got Ibuprofen from him. He was up due to a sore throat. Spring time, when it has these big swings between cold and warm, is quite treacherous. Later I went to the doctor and got antibiotics, and there is no longer pain, just a faint ringing/dullness from that ear. Hoping it will clear up, and hoping the baby doesn't come until it clears up.

Good morning all, 35 going to 59 and sunny, then chance of falling weather through Wednesday. The funeral was wonderful, it was her family and friends, plus church family talking about the old woman they all loved and respected. I can only hope my funeral is like that.

Coffee has been pour and cooling in cup. 23° with a bright moon. Heading to 48° with afternoon rain. Checked my list and found that I did Tuesday list yesterday. So taking snow blade off and putting FEL bucket on will get done today. Then get started picking up all the sod skimmed off sides of drive when snow plowing. Hopefully before rain moves in around 2 pm. No other plans for the day.

It was a bright moon here too Ron, when I got up I thought I had my time wrong...I could see the barn too easily through the window. But just Mr Moon shining away.
And Ron, thank you for the tip on the Zuri office chair. After putting on the base backwards(and I was so careful to check...sigh) it sure is an improvement over what I had.
