28 and going to a high of 36 Wind N 14 gusting to 25 mph. Mostly sunny.

Starting tomorrow there is a 40% chance of flurries until next Wednesday.

I am going back down to the big smoke next Wednesday and coming back home on the 6th.
I will take my laptop down with me and do 6 months of winders updates on the hotels' wifi.

Today will be scraping some of the honey combed snow and ice off the driveway.
Maybe I will get at the fuel pumping deal, but don't hold your breath.

Happy Friday

60 degrees in Colorado County and forecast is for 76 this afternoon. Looks to be a “Chamber of Commerce” day and weekend.

We were blessed with about 3 1/2” of rain, Tuesday and Wednesday, that was really needed.

Happy Easter to all and enjoy the weekend!

The most important holiday for Christians, the crucifixion and resurrection. I’ve often said I’d love to the faces of the Roman soldiers when they found the stone rolled away.

Good Morning!!!! 59F @ 5:15AM. Partly cloudy. High 76F. Winds light and variable.

Finished part of the wiring on the old bike yesterday, and today I hope to get the tail lights mounted on the saddle bags and get them wired. That'll finish up the electrical, all except the points, which I got into again yesterday. The felt wiper backer had broken off, so I ground off the rivets to remove the remnant and started looking around for tiny rivets to put a new one on. Didn't have any small enough, so ordered 2x56 screws and lock nuts. Today I'll get the holes opened up for the screws, then put it all back together and see if I can get the timing set again. Be nice to have it running for the little party tomorrow.

Got a text from the mechanic yesterday asking me to call him, and when I did he started whining about the cure notice. I just reinforced what it said, and reminded him of the commitments he'd made in the past that had not been honored. He didn't seem upset, but didn't apologize or make any promises about finishing on time. Wish he'd take a page out of Don's tree trimmer's book.:irked:

TGIF!:drink:

They’re polished aluminum, so keeping them clean is a bit of a process. They’re Boyd Coddington Smoothies.

Ever try one of these with some Autosol? The one I got was too big for motorcycle rims, but it sure did work nice on the sides where it would reach.

Not to get into politics but California always amuses me. A judge wants a cancer warning put on coffee because it hasn't been shown that it does not cause cancer.
Guilty till proven innocent. I would love to go out and eat with him and point out exactly what he is eating and what it does to his heart with the proof and research behind it. California would ban meat.

"Dirty Laundry" was a great way to start my day:cool::D Thanks for sharing Ron. This video is perfect ;) for another thread frequented by old farts at another site...... Similar ages similar themes.

Wngsprd- Thanks for the + wishes. We've been dogless for almost 8 months. This is the longest gap in dog ownership in ~50 years, and I am really not liking it. The dog that was discussed with me by the Rescue Group has some medical challenges with an auto-immune disorder that in now in remission. Unfortunately, but fortunately I have experience(s) with auto-immune issues. The dog is on a "play date" today for evaluation of how well he deals with other dogs and social stimulation. I/We will be following this activity closely. It would really be nice to have some new gobbers hanging around the place.

A foggy, rainy morning to start the day. Temperature in the low 40F's.

My + thoughts, prayers, and wishes for all.

Don- If I did not live in MA I would post a cynical and sarcastic comment(s) about government. ;):(

43°F and light rain this morning, going up to 54°. Rain is supposed to clear out this morning and reveal the sun once again. Not for long, though, as we're expecting more rain on Saturday and possibly changing over to snow on Sunday. 58° on Saturday, snow on Sunday. Gotta love Midwest weather.

Wifey picked up the new chicks yesterday. She got six Buff Orpingtons, which puts us up to 16 now. :confused2: I reminded her last night of when we started talking about chickens, and we agreed that four or five would be plenty. I also asked her if we were going to need some sort of intervention. I got a sarcastic "ha - ha" in response. At least two, possibly three, of the older ones are definitely roosters, though, so those will end up in the air fryer. Going to have to build an extension on the coop already.

All this talk of television shows. I haven't really been much of a television person since I was a kid. I used to run home from school every day to watch Speed Racer, Ultraman, and Johnny Sokko, and I always watched the Saturday morning cartoons, mostly for the Bugs Bunny / Road Runner stuff. Other than that, never was all that enthused about television. I watched some Monty Python, Benny Hill, and Doctor Who as a teenager, but even got away from that after awhile. As an adult, I almost completely lost interest. After my divorce in 1990, I didn't even own a television until I got married again in 2013. Even now, I call it "her" TV. Most people look at me like I have a third eye when I tell them I don't watch TV ... until I explain that I have a house full of musical instruments, and simply don't have time for it.

New guitar I bought off eBay earlier this week is supposed to be delivered today, a 12-string Strat. Looking forward to that.

I am amazed still, even though I expect it, when the people reading the teleprompter for news stories add words on their own... adjectives to sensationalize it more. and depending on the story, you get to see their political slant interjected. I seldom watch more than a few minutes other than to catch the weather. I get most of my news online and have noticed that regardless of political slant, many of the stories are just about ratings and who can exploit the situation the most.

Not yet 'good' here', but getting there.
+ 5 deg so going the right way.
Lots of melting snow, lake frozen still and very slushy.
Drive is mush and melt and the road is mostly muddy.
Not worth washing the car as last time it went from white to dirty brown in first hour.

But we are heading in the right direction.
