Let her know she should be very careful with ibuprofen at that dosage level, Jay. Back when I was having chronic pain from a neck injury, all Kaiser would do is prescribe Ibuprofen, three of those 800mg monsters a day. Helped with the pain, but didn't fix it, and eventually led to chronic acid reflux (GERD). That kicked off a whole train of additional prescriptions, each of which had side effects that led to other problems. Took several years to kick them all, but the GERD is still a daily issue.

We had no idea she was getting that many. Can’t envision she would take 3/day regardless of the pain, just not her style. Not sure she has ever completed a pain pill regimen. Even after her accident she didn’t take full dosage most days and got off them and then told the Dr she did.
I’ve had acid reflux from time to time, mostly seems triggered by hot and spicy, so I have to watch that.

Good morning all. It's dull here this morning and all is quiet outside, as if the birds are having second thoughts about this really being spring.


Ed, sorry to hear of your mom. Hope you can get through the next few days without your boy becoming stressed.

It took a while and a couple of trilobite fossils :wink:. That was 43 years ago.

Heard that many girls like a bit of old rock, generally when it comes out of the ground as a diamond, but trilobite fossils ? How on earth did you guess you could win over a young lady with long dead arachnomorph arthropods ?

up early, a much warmer 46 here going up to 72 today, 81 tomorrow. That should make anything brown become green in a hurry.
Headed to TSC early to pick up my 7 foot tposts to finish the tomato section of garden. I know wooden stakes would look nicer but these aren't going anywhere under weight, and they are staying up for next year anyway.

I'm hoping Ed can wake up this morning with a lighter load on his heart and an increasing smile on his face.

And we all continue to worry about Riptides and his wife. Hope they both are ok.

40 going to 66. Got unexpected rain yesterday.

Back in '72 had a friend of family let me keep their Jeep, similar to those Drew pictured, but in the Wagoneer body...drove it from Sandbridge, Virginia to Duck, NC on the beach a few times...was great fun. Now much of that section of beach is restricted...too many sea turtles and tourists...back in '72, just a very few shacks back in the dunes, and one huge abandoned duck hunting lodge at Corolla.

My son finally sent some pics of his J20 PU. He still hasn't painted it yet.

His had the Gladiator front end from the early 60’s, trucks didn’t really change for over 30 years.

Ellen has A-fib, treated successfully with minimal meds. Doc thinks it was stress related.
Now that I’m relaxing her she should be fine! LOL
