My area is now under a NWS issued Winter Storm Warning and posting 11" of predicted snow; winds ~40mph. Nothing weather-wise happening here yet.

Good evening all. 50F start, overcast with fog and 1.2 inch in rain gauge. High temp of 63F, winds increased to 13-18 from northeast, and sky cleared of about 1:30PM. Not much accomplished this morning, did get a bike ride in. This afternoon, wife and I played in Couples golf Thursday edition 9 holes. We were both rusty but did not come in last :dance1:

This storm will probably set a record or two winds gusting here to 30mph

Just got the power back on. Went out about 10, came on about 30 minutes ago. Ran the genny for a bit, then went to bed. Woke up when the light came on. Not ready for bed yet....

33 right now...high in the mid- to upper 30's with snow and rain. Much too much accumulation in the prediction, fortunately. Looks like this one is going to be mostly south-southwest of us.

Pretty good trip to Connecticut...back down there on Monday.

Proud Papa moment. My 10 year old daughter with autism made the A & B Honor roll this semester. (We took her out of public school last year for a big reason and put her back into 4th grade this year) At first we were all worried about her being behind and reading on grade level, but she passed her reading test a couple of weeks ago. So, she is caught up.

That is great news, you guys are good parents!
