It is getting tough to keep up here a bit.

Prayers for Rip and wife, BEF keep getting better bit by bit, Dabs wife too.

I saw a couple of interesting news bits.

North Carolina declared heating oil emergency.

Apple slowed down the old Iphones (to save the batteries they say)...wink wink, nod nod. While latest Iphone sales are slower than expected. This right here would make me reconsider another brand. Our gen2 Ipad is getting so slow, such that the kids don't even want to play on it.

Apparently, there's a class action lawsuit against Apple concerning slowing the older phones down. I hope Apple learns a hard and very expensive lesson...

Nope, you ain't crazy. I had the same experience, except mine was between 1972 and 1977.

North Carolina’s governor has signed an emergency declaration to allow heating fuel to be more easily distributed during a bitter cold snap.

I couldn't find any more info on this and have no idea what this means.
Perhaps i shouldn't order a refill on my farm diesel tank right now...

Time to light the fireplace, hopefully read a book and fall asleep by the fire.

Got rained out before I got Trex installed yesterday do on my list for today, but today is a short day.
Off to breakfast with wife and some errands. Neighbor’s New Years gathering starts at 3pm. Might get rained out though.

Got chipper about 90% assembled. Still have to install output chute, fill oil tank and fit PTO shaft. May have to wait a week. Temperatures are head down again.

48F right now......good rain falling. Some minor flooding expected on rivers at high tide........covers highway for a few hours. Cut down two more trees this morning........chain came off saw........wasn't happy.....all fixed now.....back in business.
