Drinking first cup of coffee. 50° with mostly cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 72° with partly cloudy skies. Need to put roof coating animal barn roof today. That should finish off the day.

54F now low 70's for high,wish those kinda of temps were all summer long.

Off to work soon after work do little trimming if rain showers aren't to heavy like last evening.

nice cool morning in Milton Delaware, just inland from Lewes DE.
One of the fun challenges with my friend here who I have known since tenth grade is that he and his wife are fairly nocturnal, night people, and get up between 8 and 9am. Which of course is four to five hours after I'm up...she will get up a little early this morning to cook breakfast and I"m sure I'm in for a treat. Then about five hours to home.

Riptides, you are up early, that hay must be calling you. Make hay while the sun shines...

Lewes is a nice little town, always enjoy walking about while we are there. Too few times, need more trips up that way.

Dad tried the round baler for the first time last night. Monitor didn't say it was full, so he overfilled it and broke a shear pin. He had to dump an untied roll, will try again today.

54°F and clear skies this morning, going up to 81° today. Last day of the mild weather, as it will be warming to around 90° for the rest of the week.

Do you have difficulty going to sleep each night - always pinching yourself to make sure this is not just a dream ?

Yes. Yes I do. I have long considered myself "the luckiest guy on the planet." I don't deserve her ... but I'm going to keep her anyway.

The electrician came back Saturday morning and worked for a few hours cleaning up some more of the wiring nightmare. He's ordering new equipment this week, and agreed to move everything from the two breaker boxes into one ... something the other guy just simply didn't want to do.

The Wife and the boy started disassembling the basement kitchen and removing paneling from the walls while I was outside "tractoring." Ended up being more of just her doing it, which was little surprise. Good thing she enjoys doing that kind of stuff.

HVAC guy was there that morning, too, and will be ordering new higher-efficiency compressor and air handler this week as well. He's also going to change some of the duct work, and add more returns.

Carpenter said he's finishing up a couple of other jobs, and expects to start within the next couple of weeks. Looks like "Phase 2" is pretty much underway now.

Good Morning!!!! 61F @ 6:30AM. Sunny. High 89F. Winds SSW at 5 to 10 mph.

Enjoyed a little time with the doors open yesterday morning, first time in a couple weeks. More of the same this morning, all because of lower overnight temperatures. Nice break before returning to the hundreds for the weekend.

I should be using the cooler weather to spray out the star thistle and poison oak sprouts in the meadow, but instead I'll see if I can't chase down an oil leak on the front of the touring bike's engine. That's something of a surprise as I was just in there, an indication that I probably didn't do something correctly.

57F and sunny @ 09:30 and there doesn't appear to be a cloud in the sky ... high of 69F today.

Will head out to mow a little later ... probably try and get all of it.
