woken up at 4am by line of thunderstorms that rocked this area, constant lightning off shore that was quite a fireworks display. another line of storms due in shortly, going to be a wet stormy day.
Showered and shaved and wondering what to do today, other than read and eat....
going to go take a walk while I can. Campground is very quiet, will be interesting to see if any new folks come in today, perhaps not with the crummy weather. Tomorrow Sunday is supposed to be beautiful.

Good morning got 48 degrees and 2" of rain from yesterday morning till now. I was very surprised we have internet our phone service was out all evening, happens when we get hard rains like we got. Took wife for check up yesterday doc said she doing good her fingers are all working and the pain is gone still has a little tingling but he said that's normal will go away as she uses them. If the weather is report is right I might get to mow some after lunch that will be only thing going on for next few days. Everyone have a great day

Put my noise to the grind stone as they say from 6am until 5pm complete a lot,which means main list of things to do list just about done. :dance1:
Today plans are purchase 10 gallon diesel get burning permit this afternoon just before showers arrive burn 3 old brush piles...fingers than will burn well.
Blackflies are chewing enough so need to spray OFF on myself.

just got back from walk in time, big thunderstorms passing overhead, pouring rain, wonder when the power will go out at this rate, but at least it looks like it won't last long. Met a nice guy from Virginia walking his 11 month old golden lab puppy, gosh she was cute. A real lady magnet, brought one woman across the street who just had to smooch the little puppy. Who seemed quite delighted, a girl thing...

it really would be nice if this front would then clear up the weather. But I think more is coming in.

45 right now now...high in the upper 50's and probably some rain this afternoon.
Finished mowing yesterday, so I want to do some weed wacking as soon as it dries up a bit...hopefully, the rain will hold off.

I'll be picking up a newly purchased Ruger American .22 bolt action rifle this morning...in about 3 hours or so. Probably try that out this afternoon, after the chores are done. This rifle uses the 10/22 10 round rotary magazines and has a threaded 18" barrel. Should be a very quiet gun with a suppressor and subsonic ammunition.

46 and going to a high of 59. 49% chance of showers or T-storms. Wind SSE 4 mph.
If it rains then we'll put insulation in the attic. If it doesn't then gardening.

I believe you and I like to buy guns. Looking at Savage .223 ss varmint barrel slightly used synthetic stock came from gun collector who used this one very little. $650 need to check on price

Good morning! 60˚ clear skies, looks like Kyle has a green light to finish the roof today.

Ron I don't know how long it takes for people in a high altitude to increase their blood. I do know it will be about 3 months before my Dad's body will replace his blood loss.

I feel like I'm going in circles with projects/maintenance that need to be done. I would prioritize the most important, but then the x-factor comes in, that is which projects I WANT to do. Today is Dad's day, I'll roust him up and about out of bed and outside. Tomorrow, of course, is Mother's Day.
