just got out of the shower and my phone rang, fireman neighbor saying the fire alarm went off and it was next door...
Lovely, I fly out and find my drunken farmer's tobacco barn on the far side of the road in flames. They had burned off the field today, apparently unhappy with the Roundup spray previously used on it. Did the same thing right next to my house, wonder what chemicals are airborne when dead Roundup grass is burned and particles sent airborne...
The barn that burned was small and half falling down, but of course, they had "antiques" in it...yeah right. It was a derelict falling down mess that had long been picked through, and was literally collapsing from neglect. And the final act of neglect took it down for good.
What this shows me is how stupid and dangerous these neighbors are. Makes that acre of buffer they want to sell me even more valuable. Heck of way to prove a point...
otherwise...had a good day hooking up my air system in the shop, and though juryrigged with too long connecting hoses, it not only all worked when pressurized, but zero hissing or leaks. All my air tools went whirring away, and it was a good small step for mankind.
