30 degrees and heading to the mid 50's today partly cloudy but dry
Good to be home and will be doing fire wood work today.

2AM, temperature alarm went off in the water building... went outside to turn a heater on in there, and that wind chill had to be in the mid to low teens already. COLD. First real cold we've seen this season, so I am not going to complain to much, it has been a great year.

1 is outside
2 is electrical building
3 is water building
4 is inside

Tomorrows project now, is to install the automatic heater (in box on floor) in the water building. I had to step over it, to get to the other heater to turn it on, while freezing my hind-end off.

36 this morning but temperature will rise close to 70 today with light winds. The coldest temperatures of the year arrive Friday with projected high of 38 low 25. Another good working day I think

Poured second cup of coffee. 43° with mostly clear skies this morning. Heading to 57° with chance of rain when cold front moves in. Going to change oil in motorhome today. Was going to get it done during our trip west. But after reading a thread on Diesel Place. Going to do it myself.

28F clear sky high upper 50's,wish I could play hooky from work on days as such.
Last 20 mins 4 deer have pass by heading for the high grounds to bed etc.,which means flock of turkey's soon to arrive to start picking.

37 and foggy...should hit 67 today.

Heading down to Chesterfield to have lunch with a former employee today. Good to catch up on things. Then back home to paint before too late - only have today and tomorrow before the cold hits.

Looks to be a little NorEaster. Bring that rain on, I sound like TxDon, its really dry here. And I have a ton of fresh sod laid that is chanting
for rain outside. We want rain. We want rain...
the last four systems have missed this entire area.
Looks to be a good one coming.

Thanks for the warning. We need the rain, too. The local weather guy said any rain would pass east of I-95, and we have a 20% chance of rain/snow Thursday/Thursday night.

But I'll take another look at the forecast before I drag out the sprayer, ladders and equipment.

39F with fog. Mid-50's again today.

Picked up some rubber tarp bungees and hydraulic fluid yesterday, hope to finish up the chains and get the hydraulic oil & filter done today. Need to go to the grocery too sometime today.

The local TSC now sells Sta-Bil diesel treatment and biocide, hadn't seen that before. The Kubota dealer sells Shell Spirax hydraulic fluid. Said they only recommend Kubota UDT during the warranty period since it is so expensive. The Spirax was $68.75 for 5 gal.

$145 for 10 gal of Spirax plus the expensive hydraulic filter makes that a pricey maintenance item.
