46 this morning and headed to 54 today. Sun comes back out today after not seeing it for 2 days. Sunny and windy till weekend. Next chance of rain is Tuesday. I would like to put in a diversion for this rain as I am hoping to pour concrete next week. We'll see.

Buppies could you disclose your source for the long range forecast.


Rs when I find those widow maker limbs I get a long rope and weight one end. Just enough to throw. Toss it up and over limb. Then hook both ends to a long chain to get out from under it and pull it down. Sometimes takes more than one try.

Yep, raining here and 55. Should get up to 68 and windy and rain may stick around all day.

We have the carpet installers coming back today. The new carpet we installed a few weeks ago is getting replaced already. Fortunately at no cost (after along heart to heart talk with the manager). It is a textured carpet with very small loops woven in, and they started pulling out. We love the carpet, but can't deal with gluing down loops every day. So had to move stuff out of the rooms again last night. This new carpet does not have any loops. Fingers crossed.

So sorry for your carpet issues but the company is doing the right thing by you

Heavy rain showers just moved thru high winds and much cooler outside now cold front came thru. After a high of 70 now going into 40s in a hurry. Big chill still coming next week with a lot of threats for wintery precipation between now and Thanksgiving

Raining here, really ugly sky. Hopefully, tomorrow will be better. Have a bunch of small things to do, but the weather is closing in here in Michigan. Another month, we will be like hobbits, down in our burrows.

41F with rain on the way, maybe 1/2" tonight.

Got some tree work done today cleaning up along the lane and the blow down. Changed the tractor oil & filter. It's due for a hydraulic fluid change too. I have a new hydraulic and fuel filter on hand. It's time to get the tractor maintenance done before winter gets here I guess.
