Based on RSW's project, maybe Larro should have him take a crack at it before the doctors get involved!

Good Afternoon. I tried posting this morning, but either my computer or TBN ate my comments. I was too busy to try again. so here goes....

1740, sunny, 70F with 62% humidity. Forecast high of 79F with 0% chance of rain this afternoon, and a low of 52F tonight. We had some rough weather Monday night and Tuesday morning. There were 2 twisters, 1 hitting the county airport, which is less than three miles from the Larro Ranchero {across the river}. My Tampa cousins {on Mamma's side of the family} keep a car there for when they fly up. I couldn't tell by the pictures in the paper if it was damaged. A couple of the planes did get some damage.

Sister and BIL are spending the week at Panama City Beach with her daughter, SIL and granddkids from Denver. Yesterday when she was coming out of a shop, she stepped wrong and fell, breaking her arm in two places. She is scheduled to have surgery on it tomorrow to insert a steel plate. Not a good way to spend your week off. Luckily it was her left arm, so she will still be able to work.



I hate it when I forget my pants for a store run. When you get to the checkout and realize you don't have your wallet, it can get embarrassing.

56F and cloudy @ 02:00 ...

Rained quite a bit earlier this evening ... came down pretty hard.

That and the Hunan Combination Platter caused me to inspect the insides of my eyelids for a while after dining ... (was probably the MSG ...)

Did some cutting and grinding earlier on grapple parts ... also got 12 holes (1 1/2" to 2") drilled in 2 tacked-together (1" thick pieces) and then split the 2 pieces into 8 parts (all 1/4" thick)

I have 12 corners to grind and radius, to take the sharp points off, and then I'll be ready to start assembling/tack welding all the pieces for the lower rake masts/towers for the upper jaw together ... after I clean off all the crap that has accumulated on the welding table.

Need to move the table over about 1' while I have it unloaded ... so the MIG can moved around more easily.

They're calling for rain today, but clear on Friday ... so any firewood cutting will have to wait for another day.

Rained all day yesterday, which was okay since we were clearing out a couple of rooms to move to another part of the house...carpet guys coming today. After all of this moving, I now appreciate why I put off this new carpet for a couple of years.
