Good morning!! 76˚ very humid after 1/3" rain last night - that makes about an inch for the week. More chance of rain today.
I was wondering if the canoe would float but I don't think a launch is going to happen.
I have a problem with the circular paver driveway. It continues to go unused. Most everyone treats it like a sidewalk or a toll road with no Txtag. I especially built it for my mom so when she visited she could drive right up to the front door and never have to back up - but no, she parks in the field like the picture below. She always has an excuse like dripping oil (she has none) or muddy tires, etc. . . .
I'm thinking that I might need to extend it to the yard cattle guard so they HAVE to get on it or start walking before they see the house.

Second cup of coffee has been poured. 45° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 69° with a good breeze and lots of sun. Relaxing and enjoying the great weather.
txdon, circle drives are great for a couple of cars to park. After that all the middle cars are trapped until first or last leave. I like parking on your drive. Right at the front door.

60 with a high of 74, and a chance of rain. It sprinkled enough yesterday to interfere with my plans for outside work, but we do need a real rain.

Hope to finish trimming around trees after work..couple more hours.
One doesn't have to look hard to see where turkeys sleep at night...what a mess.

Yeah, it was a bit chilly...no frost requiring scraping on the windshields though.
From what I've read on the DR site, that pull behind is supposed to be able to be offset so it can work behind a lawn tractor, ATV or UTV. I thought about one to pull with my Gator, but I bought a used walk-behind trimmer (a DR) instead.

And before that, listened to the nearby farmer's dogs wake up and start their morning chorus.

he must have five or six dogs, including one that could do a canine aria, high notes and all.
And after about five minutes they quiet down immediately.
really is enjoyable to listen to...the canine chorus.
it's that get up and get going sound. No alarm clocks needed on the farm.
Don, that driveway is just gorgeous. Now if you could get that star to light up at night...

29F this morning at sunrise. 60F today and dry.
I think I will go to the Farmington Fair today. Eat french fries and wander around checking out what's new. Beef cattle are being exhibited at 10am, 4-H dairy goats at 3pm and horse pulling in between.

Dave, reporting 30s is one thing, but 29??? I love cold weather, but would like it to get here a little slower. You may want to keep 20s to yourself.
I think we are going to a fair today, too. It's called Field Day of the Past...old-time crafts and food, antique tractors, steam engines, truck pulling, etc.
