Morning 03:19 am 67 degrees and it's hopefully going to be a clear sunny day. We've been clear up to our buns in rain. I have lived here in Virginia for 12 yrs.,and this has been the coolest and wettest winter,spring and summer seasons.
The guy who sold me my MF253 came by Sunday and removed, loaded and re-arranged a tire wheel config. Funny, as I told him it's a amazing what a fella will do to sell a Woods TC72 Tiller.

58 degrees going to 85 today on a clear Monday.

more packing today, then the big truck comes tomorrow. The house is starting to look pretty strange inside.
And oh boy do I have some cleaning. Pulling all those paintings off the wall and finding decades of fireplace soot and cobwebs behind a few...need to clean carefully. Will be a day of patching holes in the wall and staying out of the way.

62 this morning high of 80 later today and no rain. Cleaned out the garage yesterday afternoon only one half of one side but it is a start. Power came back on about mid morning looked to have been off about 6 hours or so. At least it wasn't hot. Welcome Duwop to our little village.
No rain again until Friday and tropical storm to be a fish storm that does not affect the east coast

Drinking first cup of coffee. 64° with partly cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 85° with sun, clouds and humidity. Going to be a sticky one today. Wife's car needs new tires. Should be a good day to spend at Costco while getting tires put on.

57, going to only 80 and sunny again today. With this type summer weather, we don't need autumn to cool things down.

Got all my bird feeding done so I can get out early today. Beautiful stars out earlier.

Duwop, hello! You must be in western VA? since they seem to have gotten the downpours this year.

57F fog burning means mid plus 80 degree day..each day little warmer until Friday.

Good morning. Whew, glad to be at a job, even if it is a possible finale. It was 59 when I left this AM, nice fog bank over the pastures. Got most of the back cut yesterday, with the Bota. The one with the dead battery. I jump started it, and proceed to just spend the next four hours making nice stripes in the pasture. Unfortunate, of course, as I was heading for the house, it died. So I walked back home, to get the RTV out for a jump start. No joy. Is very dead. Looks like I'll be shopping for a new battery today.

65 degrees and somewhat cloudy here @ 07:00 ... heading up to around 84 today and they are calling for a high of 88 on Tuesday which will be the warmest it's been for quite some time.

Got hungry and came down to the house to finish up the chicken wings from last night ... and get a refill on my coffee. Not tired or sleepy ... so I'll be heading back up to the shed in a few.

Got the pump box for the parts cleaner put back to together and reinstalled. I managed to pooch the pump itself while I was trying to install the impeller hub/cover the other night ... it was a hard fit due to a swelled o-ring and I cracked the cover. Removed the o-ring and put it back together without it ... still works, although the flow out of the nozzle seems a little lower.

The pump was a replacement I picked up at Harbor Freight when the original failed. Unfortunately they no longer carry them in the stores. It had a manufacture date of 02/03 ... which sounds about right. Given that it wasn't rated for solvent, I figure I did ok ... it sat in it for 10+ years ... and it still works (knock on wood)

Dove into cleaning the oily/greasy stuff after that ... got maybe 50% to 75% percent of it done ... mostly all the smaller stuff. My hands took a beating though ... probably time to dig out the Corn Huskers Lotion.

Had the filtration system running on the parts washer all night long ... be interesting to see how much crud it's actually able to remove. The solvent really should be changed, there's so much oil and grease in it.

Could probably run it in the van or the Kubota ... would do wonders as far as lubricity no doubt ... lol ...

Finished doing the clean up and de-rusting on the right angle welding clamp and put it back together. Also cleaned the air hoses on the two hose reels. Found out my Estwing framing hammer actually has a blue grip on it ... not black ... lol ...

The Schrader air tool oiler doesn't seem to be working ... so I'll have to dig into that and figure out what's going on.

Found a good tube of RTV ... I'll use that to repair the upholstery cleaning attachment for the Hoover carpet cleaner for the wife.

I think the wife is planning on mowing the lawn today ... and baking another blueberry pie with the last of the blueberries ... The birds are going to have a feast on the ones she picked out as no good ...

Going to be a hot one today for Maine: 88F with light and variable breezes @ 4mph.

I'm off to a slow start this morning, slept like a rock. Everything is rock-related lately. I'll be out in the field project messing with rocks today.

The 10 day forecast shows cooler temps beginning Thursday and an extended rainy period beginning this Saturday.
