Hmmm... expected wind chills sub-zero. Stuck head outside to get firewood, no wind, not that bad. Stoked up stove, walked to car, hit by Mr. Ice man.

Glad I have a full beard. Ouch! Good morning. Car said it was 14. Wind chills, yep, below zero.

Nice and dry here, frozen, and this is expected to last one more day, then "normal" winter temps. That being in the 40's.

Coffee pot just finished brewing. 50° with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 48° with possibility of rain. Overnight temperatures could get very close to freezing which might give us some snow/freezing rain. Need to disconnect water lines from RV today. Then put things away that might blow away. Best thing is it will be back in the 70's on Thursday. :thumbsup:

18F today and windy. Felt colder than last week when it was only 7F. Probably the humidity.

All our snow melted yesterday except a few drifts. May get some more tonight, but not like they are calling for down on the coast. Chesapeake and Virginia Beach may get 10-12. Very unusual for them to get that much.

-27C hera this morning (-10F) 2" of slow yesterday, starting to have to look for places to put the snow. Going to snow some more today. Wind chill -32C. Furnace is running almost all the time, but all is working as it should. Stay warm and I will try to get the back door closed to block this cold Arctic air for you guys.

The last year I lived in Elizabeth City, 1973, we got 2 big snows, one 11" and the second 14" with thunder and lightening all day. But I agree, in the last 40 years, big snows in that area were few and far between.

18 now, 52 yesterday. Now we're supposed to get the snow that was supposed to cut off way down around Cape Charles, VA. Go away snow!

-6*F overnight, -2* now and headed to a high of 12*F with ample sunshine.

Didn't quite make it up to freezing yesterday, had about 1.5" of new snow and some small drifts that I cleaned off the sides of the driveway with the FEL.
