Morning all.

31* with a trace of snow ~ 1/4", on the ground this morning. I think summer is over. :laughing:

It was 43 when I woke up around 5. Sunny and colder here for today and the next few. Tomorrow evening I'm flying to ST Louis for a couple days.

After next week-end when I move back in, There is PLENTY of "Unimproved" but easy access RV spots for TBN folk like Ron & Drew, etc. Heck I'd put in a landing strip if it wold get FG out for a visit... I can't promise power or water topside, maybe by the house though, but I can promise bad jokes, worse conversation, good food, good drink, hot coffee, etc...

Y'all all are welcome to visit anytime...

now David, it isn't expensive to put in a power pedestal. 100 amp would be nice, full premium cable, and
water straight from an underground spring should do it. :dance1:

Well after two knee operations and a shoulder fix-up skiing isn't in the cards these days. I do like cross country skiing and we do go out often but mostly flatland stuff.
It will be late December early January before we can do any of that though. Some of the ski resorts opened this weekend for the season hard to believe.

So proud of my wife yesterday. She and a girlfriend ran in a 4 mile Mud Run, complete with crazy obstacles through out the course. I think the obstacles were tougher than the mud pits.
When we got to the event, it was cool, cloudy and sprinkling. The first thing she saw was a stagnant pond about 1 acre in size that the runners had to swim across. It was muddy and at the end of the course, and I was thinking, "there's no way she's gonna swim that thing". Well, she did it!

I've been bringing her ibuprofen about every 8 hours since.

Good Morning. 0920, partly cloudy, 62* with 96% humidity. Forecast calls for a high of 75 with 20% chance of rain. I sat in the shooting house for an hour this morning, but didn't see anything. I changed out the SD card on the game camera, but there were no pictures on it. When I get in from work I will have to go back out and see what the problem is. Margie is hoping to see on bear, but so far there has been no bear sign. There was a pack of coyote ripping it up to the south of me this morning. You don't hear them in the daylight that often. It sounded like they were after something. Hope everyone has a good day.

Congrats to your wife. We had a mud run here a couple of weeks ago. Everyone seemed to have a great time.

I need the ibuprofen and I didn't run. Does that mean I'm getting old?
