46 this morning with a high of 60 later in the day. Kitchen almost cleaned out awaiting tear out tomorrow. This little project should be completed by December third. No home cooked meals until then. But after that oh my and just in time for Christmas. Soon Miss Holly will be happy dancing. Just love that dance. Sky is very clear this morning breezy with last of leaves falling off trees. One last leaf clean up then off to cut trees down for next project to begin. Very little money to work with just my time and chainsaw. Dirt to come later. Good morning all

Poured last cup coffee for today. 39° with clouds and a good breeze this morning. Heading to 47° some sun and a constant cool breeze. Decided to stop putting leaf collection off. 120 bushels of mulched leaves are now in the compost piles. Still have 2 trees with 1/2 their leaves that need to fall. Hope fully the wind will take care of most of them.
Drew, my offer of a free campsite is still open. When you get organized enough to venture out on your own.

Ron, thank you. I haven't forgotten. Once the dust settles...
Didn't sleep well, my neck and carpal tunnel really hurting, probably just the tension of the last few days. Looking forward to working that out of my body. Meanwhile the wrist band goes back on.
Later this morning going to blow some more leaves with my pull along blower, and maybe this time I'll remember my camera.

The good doctor on whose farm I play is delighted with it and he can pull it with his zero turn also. I'll probably leave it with him when I leave, a little going away present. Actually I bet it would work on a couple inches of snow also.
I'd like to find the larger size, mine is midsize, which is good for being around mulch, the one with the bigger blower and a 14hp Subaru Robin engine. Or just the larger size in a beater than I can repower. I've discovered that when you have fields and woods, blowing leaves is a natural. When I'm done with the stuff blown in the fields, I just take one pass with the brush hog over it and it nicely composts over the winter.

A quiet day today. I need a quiet day.
