You are right; this is HUGE. It's not asphalt paving, but rather layered chip and tar. Even so, it is a great surface with lots of traction, smooth, and free of dust. They are doing a good job and our roads are dead ended. We won't have lots of thru traffic. They just raised the property values and lowered insurance rates. Insurance is cheaper if you live on a paved road. Some insurance companies won't even want to talk to you if you live on a gravel road and are trying to get homeowner's insurance.

Buppies; I'll have to dig it out of a stack of recipes somewhere, but I have a good recipe for a cake that diabetics can have. The recipe was given to my grandmother, when she was craving sweets, yet she too was diabetic. It is a pretty good recipe, and some never knew it was diabetic "safe". I'll look for it, if you miss such as that.

I am fortunate. I have never had much of a "sweet tooth". Last testing I had done, doc said if I am going to become diabetic, it won't be in the next 10 years! Good to know, as I think everyone on my mom's sid,e of the family, including my mom were/are diabetic. Of course, I could just be lucky and have my dad's genes! I took after him in most respects, so maybe that way too.

Let me know, and I'll see if I can find the recipe. In the meantime, I hope the gout gets better, and quickly!

Toppo prednisone is good hard to get doctor to prescribe I have double whammy diabetes and gout and you are right have dehydrated several times in past once this year but kidneys are still good just rest of me falling apart. Can't wait to see what 60s have to offer late 40s and 50s have been an eye opener. One more day working out of town then long weekend at coast then working local for day or two. Supposed to be cooler next week. Mr Larry Darro will study your pie as well. Thanks all

It can raise glucose levels and need to monitor but it reduces inflammation throughout your body, which is big benefi.

Have had diabetes for eleven years in shots for two, eleven years ago weighed 235 lost down to 168 no improvement now around 203 a little heavy but not to bad. Blood pressure is good vision good after implants eleven years ago still 20/25 pretty good for old man. Got home tonight about 9:30 and saw I never logged off of tractor by net oh my. Farm Girl 19 thanks for pm over weekend I meant what I said good caring person you are with thoughtful provocative insight into lots of posts you comment on.

Toppop you are correct but has other unwanted side effects can be a carcengion. It along with some other high powered drugs ultimately killed my father but they did take him out of wheel chair and put him back on golf coarse for 20 years. He said before he died fair trade. The Mayo Clinic treated him for those years as local doctors said he was going to die

When mother died she had standard poodle we inherited she had to take prednisone once a day for addisions she passed last year. We had her for seven years but right now are dog less
