Yes I am not here very often, no I don't have the time to tell you exactly why. Got a query for the experts here, I took this woman home from our first real date, escorted her to her house door and waited until she had unlocked the door, gave her a hug, and then asked "Can I see you again....?"

Her reply was, "I hope so...."

Anybody want to translate that? I am used to either yes or no, so her response threw me off. If it means anything, as I was halfway home she texted me thanking me for the second or third time for a wonderful evening and also emailed me....so I take "I hope so" meant yes....:laughing.

I would post a picture of her here, but you guys would slobber all over your screens....:laughing:

Good Morning! 72˚ heading to 90˚. My garden corn has had ears for the past week and hopefully the weekend inch rain will make them fill out by the next full moom. Then the bets will be on on who can enjoy them first, the coons or me. The odd makers have the coons 4 to 1.

Good Morning. I woke up this morning with the Deep River Blues running around my brain. I can't begin to imagine what that might mean but I just got done listening to Doc Watson Playing it on You Tube. That gentleman was a treasure.

BTW, grilled up zucchini and yellow squash that I had picked from the garden, and had that and fresh home grown tomatoes, along with 2 oz of meat for lunch yesterday. The meat was secondary to the flavor of the first fresh harvest of the season!

Now that I have my garden coming in, and no freeze warnings, life will be good!

71 going to 86 today, but humid and windy.

It was a pretty miserable Saturday and Sunday with the rain, wind and all that...definitely ruined a lot of folks' plans.

Overcast and a cool 70.5 F here this morning. I should get the willpower award because I resisted and didn't go to the garden one time yesterday. However, today I'll have to check things out and do a little work there. Gonna grill hamburgers for Memorial Day this afternoon.

Yesterday, I had a rant about Redbox. It turns out that somebody seems to have a problem with The Hobbit[/] movie. Redbox gave me the disc serial number of the last time I rented a badly scratched disc and the latest scratched disc had a different number. I suppose they might have pulled the wrong number, but other than fingerprints easily removed, this is the first problem(s) I've ever had with Redbox. You sure can't complain about their prices. Anyhow, for my trouble, they sent me four promotion codes for free rentals. I put a big piece of tape on the disc with "scratched" written on it so the next person renting or the tech will see the tape for sure. . . . and The Hobbit[/] is really a strange movie that ends suddenly, long before you'd expect (tho it is nearly 3 hr long). I'd bet there will be a Hobbit II before long.

Yep, we needed it, but now it's a bit annoying, affecting my work schedule LOL
It was nice for most of the neighborhood gathering yesterday.
