Another tree down on road beside me. Coming back with ranger it started sputtering coming up hill, Pulled ranger into barn and it made funny sound and died. It started back up, then died again.

Closest LWS now showing 3.38" since midnight last.

Not at all out of the realm of possibility given what I saw.

Considering what we got yesterday ground is probably saturated at this point. Next good chance for rain will be Thursday ... so likely no watering needed any time soon.

Kept couch from floating away this afternoon with energy conservation.

Woman made BLT's with garden tomatoes for dinner, I had 2 1/2 ... completely stuffed.

Trap under one of the kitchen sink compartments rotted out making a huge mess when Woman went to drain the water in that side ...

Trash needs to be taken up to the road at some point I guess.

Good (Tuesday) morning. Overnight Low of 0.5C with a wee morning frost. Presently it's 15.6C, clear and calm.

Looks to be a tip run today, so I might as well swing by town and check my mail plus fill up the ute after the weekend's Hobart trip. Putter around after that.

Today is house cleaning day. Moving the furniture, moving all the nick-knacks and dust/ polishing, window cleaning... the list goes on and on...... Glad this "heavy clean" is only 4x a year. The routine clean is much easier done every couple days......

The MIL is coming tomorrow to stay with us until Saturday. Nothing 'special' planned. I hope to get some extra "piddling" done... I think the tractor needs to be washed and waxed.... that might take a couple days...

Uh hum, cleaning up before the MIL comes over.

Lou, a buddy worked in many of the biggest beef plants in America. He says the "hamburger cows" are culled old bag of bones old maids that can barely make it up the slight incline ramp chute. Sometimes they have to push them up.

Need to hire a couple of young students to work for me next semester. Awaiting budget knowledge to determine my helper hours available. Hard to pick one eager kid over another.

My Mom made those many years, either when we grew sufficient cukes or times when parents got cukes by the bushel basket at local veg stand.

Not an overly productive day, but satisfying. PO visit yielded the pan and tilt camera I had ordered. That camera is now set up as the primary pup cam. Easy to turn on and off remotely and get probably 90-95% of area of interest. Even has a follow feature that if motion activated follows subject that activated. Haven’t tried the 2 way audio yet. Need to secure the power cord a bit better before getting the dogs excited.

Mounted the external cam aimed to get the gate and Driveway.

good view to monitor gate activity, but wouldn’t get license place if needed. Haven’t played with motion settings yet. Still need to mount the solar panel to maintain charge.

Still haven’t integrated into HomeKit and that may not happen as the Eufy app is giving me what I want at this point. For low cost system, I am more than pleased at this point.

Good evening all. 78ºF for the start, overcast, windy. Moderate to brisk wind, sky cleared off some, and high temp was 97ºF, HI 105ºF. Wife had a Dr appointment in Sherman in morning so puttered till time to leave went to lunch, then came home. Got some mowing done, all the grass that was still growing after no irrigation. Did get nap in.
Don nice cantaloupes.
David good to hear mowing done for a while.
Ron sorry rain messed with plans. Good to hear tires on tractor, and more limbs cleaned up. Nice sunrise
Billy not much rain in forecast here Glad you got the light fixtures cleaned up, sorry 5000K bulb got nixed. Glad you got more trimming done, hope you can get rid of hornets.
Drew glad new batteries worked on weather station. Glad no problems with charging e-bike. It is nice that you have people out there to healp you when you need it.

Every time we save something AND then actually need it later, AND then can actually find it when we do... it pushes back the day that we can throw anything away by another 100 years.

Cup of coffee is cooling. 57° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 80° with chance of a light shower. .07" of rain yesterday. I did get house cleaned and laundry done. Even got it put away. House water filters got changed also. Today should be able to get a coat of paint on chicken coop.

Good Morning!

God has given us another chance to get it right (or at least not screw up too badly).

61.1F going to low 80s, partly to mostly.

didn’t get nearly as much rain as forecasted, a couple peaks of thunder, no watering needed for two more days.

Harrys medication didn’t really kick in until about two hours AFTER we got home, so next time we will give him a dose about 6 hours before, not 90 minutes…

Mrs got another Bin of dolls, lunch was a nice time.

caught up on some reading and YT research.

today looks like a general puttering around the household, except for one Mom errand that needs to be run midday. Maybe drain and flush water heater. I should dust off the splitter and get that ready to bring up to woodlot…
