Kyle, I use WD40 for a starting fluid, easier on the motor. :2cents:

I have not been to a barber in over 20 years, just go to the kitchen and wife cuts it. Works for me.

Have a great night, Ed

Good evening all. 48F for the start, calm wind and partly cloudy sky. Wind started picking late morning, variable cloudy, and high temp of 71F. Guy was supposed to come sweep the chimney today, this was a reschedule due to rain in the forecast. As of this point I don't know if he is coming :mur: Did get a bike ride in while waiting to hear from the sweep, and a nap.
Kyle bad new about the deputy.
Ed never have tried WD40, thanks for the tip.
Bird, they just ran pipes through the closet then through the wall. Took a while to get somothing to catch the drips that the squirrels couldn't turn over
prayers for all.

Good evening to everyone! A little warmer today, up to 56 at home on the mountain, went up to near 70 in town. Got just over .6" of rain / snow the last 2 days. Should be a nice weekend.

Work wasn't too bad the last 3 days. Did a lot of standing and walking though, and the knee started swelling again. I go back to the doc in another week. Hopefully find a solution to the problem.

Randy, glad you had a pleasant day with your daughter, my condolences on your loss.

Kyle, prayers sent for the LEO. It's always a sad day when you hear of things like that.

Years ago, I decided that "no hair" is better than having to find a reliable barber. Wifey takes a shear to the hair one a month, needing it or not. Easy maintenance....don't worry about combing anything. I have more hair on my chin than my head:laughing:

Prayers out for those needing. Everyone have a great weekend!

Good morning all. A rising wind has caught the trees attention this morning. They are doing their best to hold on to the green leaves but those on the change are being plucked off a little earlier than either the trees or autumn photographers would wish.

I am another one due for a haircut. A lady cuts mine. She is easy on the eye, so I never mind sitting still and talking for however long it takes, which nowadays is nothing like as long as when I had shoulder length hair, when we first got married back in '77.

Kyle, do hope they can save the sight in Deputy Lehmann's other eye. That such things can happen to people you know must have come as a shock to your daughter.

5 and very windy.

Kyle, sad. Prayers said.

Mulch-mowed all the leaves around the house and on one of my hiking trails. Just turned on the outside spotlights and it looks just like before I mowed. So much wind and rain last night...but I expected it, since I usually have to repeat the process 2 or 3 times before all the leaves fall.

Today is the opening of muzzleloader season, but it looks like the weather will keep many indoors, including me until later today.

Good morning all.
Kyle, prayers for the deputy. Doesn't sound good, single father of three girls. Almost wonder whether they need to serve warrants
behind one of those big bulletproof shields. This happens sadly all too often.

61 out, rain has left, didn't get very much, mid 60's today.
Have one more run downtown to get something I missed at the supermarket, then I start making spaghetti sauce,
spaghetti and meatballs for my friends arriving this afternoon.

Happy to report a fine visit to the barber, as he cut my hair with his brand new clippers, said he couldn't get the old one
adjusted right, (I bet I wasn't the only one it bit constantly...) and after gently suggesting he go gently with the clippers, he did.
Very pleased that worked out. 15 bucks for a five minute monthly haircut, we chatted about gardening and off I went.

Have a pile of quotes on my desk to compare between a 4 series JD compact tractor and a 4707 Massey utility tractor. Last time, and only time, I bought a new tractor, I knew in a year I bought too small. Don't want to do that again. Everything is coming in ten thousand dollars more than I thought. These tractors cost about what a new loaded truck costs and it sure widens your eyes when they total all those necessary extras.
Seems Massey dealer is discounting about 20 percent and JD seems to have first offered 11 percent off list. The JD is in budget, the MF a little out.
But about double the tractor. This is more about wants than needs, what do I want for my last tractor? Does having a buddy seat and a moonroof to see through when I use my elevated lift, and a rear three point switch to raise and lower from outside, and half again more loader lift, is it worth it. Hmmm. I'll make a decision next week. For now, I have meatballs to season.

Hope you all have a nice weekend.
