Turned out to be a lot easier just to write in the names since this wasn't some kind of presentation document.
Need to order my seed potatoes soon for the Spring. They go by acre, not linear row length, but I have an approx sq footage.
Everything will be done in little rows, will use tractor as much as possible. Will only attach deer netting on one side of fenced area by a few tie downs, so I can loosen one whole side
and get the tractor in there.
Will probably be 95% non GMO and similarly all heirloom seeds. Thought about an expensive transplanter, think I'm going to wait on that for first year. Let me make sure things grow here
before investing in yet another specialty tool. Just not sure of what to plant by seed and what to transplant from seedlings I grow. Seems the latter, though more work, would be more successful. Have ordered seed planting supplies from a local company, through Amazon interestingly, who makes extra heavy trays. I'm growing all these seedlings in my sun room, which unfortunately does not get a lot of afternoon sun, so will probably add some grow lights. Going to drive to the planting supply company and go over my garden plan with them, get the right planting mix, etc.
will be able to use area between rows of nut trees for two or three years before those trees get big enough to block the sun.
The seeds I plant directly will likely be done with a simple Earthway push planter. For the size I'm dealing with, totally not cost effective to automate, but...if this works and I rent more land from neighbor, it might be worthwhile. Plus it's fun...
Sandy soil, should be good for potatoes and carrots.
Winter dreams of Spring planting. Something to look forward to.
