Does your new MF have rear remotes Randy? Hydraulic top and side links really make grader work easy ... when you can make “on the fly” adjustments from your seat.

It does have remotes but only the two, I’ve got to get a hydraulic top link. I would have to use a block or power beyond to use hydro side links. For the once or twice a year use I’m not sure I need to get too sophisticated.

If you have to choose between top and side adjustability, top is your priority. I can highly recommend Fit-Rite Hydraulics, for your cylinder. Brian Scudder, the owner, will take great care to provide exactly what you need for your MF. Brian is a TBN member "MountainViewRanch".

I've had three sets of FR cylinders.

toppop;
the day I took delivery of my tractor, I had 105 tons of pit run gravel to move. Break them in easy? NOT a chance! I bought it to work, and that is exactly what it does.

congrats Toppop! can't wait to see pics. Yes, lunch is on for Friday
Nice drive to DE, two bad intersection accidents, fire trucks, glad to get around them.
heading out to dinner in Millsboro DE shortly.

He has a five month backlog on links. So I guess I’m not in a hurry. LOL

You'll be so happy to get your upper link, after hand cranking your stock link, you'll know the wait was worth it.

A man after my own heart. Whether cars, trucks, motorcycles, or tractors, I believe in breaking them in easy . . . for the first 5 to 10 minutes, then see what'll do.

That’s almost Randy’s back yard.

When I got the L5030 it dug manure the first day.

I’ll second recommendation for Brian. Bought 2 TL and a SL over the years. Kept one set to use on my LS.

Bird don’t read...
i remember when I bought my GTO. Told me to be easy, break it in until 500 miles. By the time it hit 500.1 I was doing over 90. My Dad was in passenger seat, not too happy with me.

Not sure what work will be, thinking pallet forks, but my LS is sitting at 99.5 hours.

If you baby a new engine, the rings'll never seat. But as I just learned on the big red dirt bike, if you wail on it, you'll use a lot of oil. On that bike, the oil that gets past the rings goes into the air cleaner, then back into the engine, and it built such large deposits of carbon that it scored the cylinder walls. Two hundred bux a hole to have them stripped and replated, another hundred for rings, seventy-five for gaskets and o-rings; I won't make that mistake again. I also re-routed the breather so the oil goes overboard, just like we did in the old days with our Brit bikes.

24 now, low of 21 is predicted, but if it doesn’t cloud up or get windy I would be surprised if we didn’t get into the teens.
Dealer told me if I decide to buy the backhoe within 90 days he will sell it at the package price. Now he has me thinking about that again.
