Mid morning here, suns peeking through clouds, animals are all fed and out, laid in bed a little longer than usual this AM. Attempted to do some lawn cutting yesterday, that one mower needs to go to the shop. Cannot figure it out, one of those auto-carbs. Took it apart, cleaned it up. Either is barely runs, or it run bat out of hades exploding fast. Crazy. Need to cut with the 20 year old plus mower. Real fun on the back that one, but it works. Room got painted yesterday. Will re-hang crown molding today. Hate working that stuff in corners. Old farm house, you know there is not a 90 degree angle on anything. Should be fun, may cheat and find some corner pieces at a local hardware store. Need to make the trip anyway for some screws.

My wife was up at 3AM tracking two of our kids down, electronically. They made a city run, and did not check in at the allotted time. When I see them, I will smack them upside their dense heads. LOL. That's what Mom's do.

and most kids would interpret that to mean everything good happens after 9pm...until they find out for themselves and wish they had paid more attention to you...all you want is for them to be safe.

almost three hours of stapling insulation, ran out of staples, convenient excuse to come in, shower the itchies away, though this time I wore a long sleeved shirt and that sure helped. Another couple of hours work and I'll have done whatever I can do. Rest is up to the carpenter.

At exactly 10am there was a crack of thunder here and the heavens opened up. Not much rain, but exciting for awhile. Bands of rain are coming in as this system rotates around and pulls water off the ocean inland.
Hey, how about dropping a few nice sea trout on me?...
my luck it would bring more bears in

Good morning Tractor drivers! 63° at 0932 very light overcast so far today. Going to get my Dualsport dirtbike out of storage today and get it ready to go riding next weekend.

riptides, I hope your kids are alright. I remember my dad came looking for me about 2:00am one morning, long before the digital age. I don't remember getting in to much trouble. I was at a house party, I think if my car would have been there I probably wouldn't have heard about it until the next day.

66°F and 1.97 inches rain last 24 hours. Coming down pretty good, looks like the day will be a wash.

I've got another 3 way and a 4 way circuit left to hook up and cottage wiring will be done, except the actual hanging of fixtures.

I got my '85 XT600 out yesterday and fired it up. I keep 100LL Avgas in it so I can park it for months. Took my 5 year old for a short ride around our place. He loved it.
