I'm hoping I solved one of life's little challenges this morning.
new detergent pods for washing machine leave a residual detergent smell
I don't like at all. Particularly if I sweat and then shirt smells worse, not better.
big washer, takes two pods for full load, was wondering if I should cut back to one.
But then an aha moment.
I looked at panel of buttons and there was one for extra rinse.
hmmmm that might just do the trick and wash the odor out better.
so I pushed that button and will see if I can tell the difference.
I always look for unscented products.
to me clean means no smell, not a fake smell

as a teenager I remember using Old Spice. And I think something called English Leather.
Last time I ever put something on me.
now I think it attracts bugs...
One pod should be more then enough. These modern front loaders use so little water that I've found it requires at least one and I normally use 3 rinses. So much for the epa mandated low water usage.

About the same here. It's an adventure trying to find a package most of the time. We have even had some in the gully by the mailbox. Those are fun on wet days.

Morning all, 53 going to 79 and sunny
Put more water in pool.
Put up a 2nd Eufy solar camera
Cleaned out the dryer vent

I second the tide liquid scent free version. Never paid more for pods, nice marketing trick.

Be well,

First day of class and still smiling

Good Morning
62° and sunny, high in middle 70’s with continued sunshine in the forecast.

Yesterday was an entertaining day at the RC field, no mishaps. Continued cleaning up in the shop afterwards, making steady progress as “stuff” is finding new homes. Someone coming today for glow powered RC helicopters, as I’m spoiled by electric powered models.
Mowed the runway, but the rest of the place doesn’t really need it yet.

Today starts with breakfast with the professor. Not sure what’s follows.

Amazon is pretty consistent here, usually the front porch of the house, occasionally the old folks home, or in front of the garage. UPS usually puts deliveries inside the shop. FedEx leaves them wherever they feel like.

So I got a speeding ticket in NYC for 37 in a 25, school zone, in August, on a Saturday.
Seems they put a new law in affect in 2024.

The speed limit there was 35 when no school in session in 2023.

$50 and no points = new tax.

Good morning, the low is 51 and going up to 75°F. Wind ESE 5 mph. Sunny! Rain coming tonight and for the next three days they claim.

I got an absolutely brilliant idea yesterday! Amazing! It just came to me that if I was to get a bolt on SSQA and 4 'U' bolts I could mount my disks on the loader arms at the front of the tractor and disk (fluff) up the driveway and with the BB on the three point, I could shape it all at once. Requires me buying another SSQA. and the 'U' bolts and nuts. If the brilliant idea doesn't work, I will still have a separate SSQA and 4 'U' bolts and nuts.

That limo looks like a 1954 Pontiac at the front.

As for laundry, one (1) pod per load and 2 rinses. I'm on a well but with a good recovery rate (12 gallons/minute) and hang them outside for about a week. Rain water rinses gets the rest of the soap stink off. Winter time we hang them in the house and that brings the humidity back up inside. Wood heat will dry everything out.

I have some outside puttering to do today and may involve cutting the grass and digging the disks out of their hidy-hole.

Have safe day all

I Like the Eufy cameras I have. Have 2 at home, 2 at dads, might get more. So much better for remote viewing than the old Qsee and amcrest ones I still use.

I still have some old analog cameras up. Just pulled up the App, the DVR doesn't seem to be working right now.
Should get rid of my one reolink camera. It's now redundant.

Looks like one of the clown trucks for the fiber company just turned around up in my driveway. Not pull in the drive and back out on the road, they pull into my drive heading to my barn, then back towards my garage, so they can go out forward. They act like they own the place. Wonder if they tried to drive down along my creek again since I blocked it off.
I checked the camera yesterday, only got my neighbors going for a walk along the creek, I'm ok with that. And deer, and even a cat.

My wife is exercising, and Pebbles gets on the matt with her. Earlier she was laying in an empty clothes basket, and would grab at my feet when I went by. Now she laid down on my wife's back, as she is laying on the matt exercising.
