Drinking hot cup of coffee. 51° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 72° with a few clouds. Everything on To-Do list is still on it. Took a full conserve energy day yesterday. Garden Pond Maintenance this morning. Then get the 10 bags of mulch spread.

good Sunday morning all
woke up early, enjoying my coffee, wondering what the day will bring
no plans, it's been a long busy week for me and I'd like a conserve energy day too.

nice dinner over at my friend's house yesterday, remains a depressing visit, now friend has such
problems getting around even in wheelchair, he stayed home while wife and I went swimming.
had long talk with her about getting help. She says full time help costs 40 bucks an hour and 150k+ per year.
I know she can get help for less, and she is researching everything.
On the way over there stopped at farm market and picked up fresh corn, she cooked it for dinner,
cut it off the cob (nice luxury) and boy it was good.

speaking of good, Popgadget worked on my string trimmer (yes, I was right, can't retrofit it, oh well)
and sent me home with a nice container of pulled pork. That will make a yummy dinner tonight.
He was working hard on his fence, using that very cool hydraulic phd.

I need to build better ramps so my mower deck won't hit on the aluminum edge of garden shed, beating that sill up.
problem is too much angle. So...I blocked it up a little at the ends, but not enough. If I put a 2x10 down on top of the metal
ramp, that works, elevates the mower enough for better clearance, but then the doors won't shut. I need to bevel the leading edge
to clear the door swinging shut.

I've been using some old boards to throw on there but taking them on and off is a pain plus they work poorly.
not sure my little band saw is up to the task.
Plus cutting full width without good guides sounds dubious.
have more eyeballing to do, want this to look nice since the shed is nice.
also want to replace the wood on the end with something more permanent, although possibly once the
wood board is installed, might not need anything there, though don't want end to sink into ground.

still in the design stage for sure.
had to build the shed foundation "up" because of ground water coming through property to the right.

I do wonder about critters living underneath.

Put a stack of 2x4s along ground in front of doors to support ramps. May take 2 or more to get correct hight.

Good morning, the low is 53 and going up to 70°F. Wind W 7 mph. 40% chance of showers.

I may put the framework in place and anchor that down. Will stall and put the cover on when the wind is almost nil.

Drew, can you cut the bottom overhang off the doors?
What is in the shed that you absolutely NEED in winter?

Presently rain shower 66 feels like 40 puppy is out for morning business. She is very sweet wants to be around us all the time ventures out of sight but if you go inside she at the door. She watched deer for over Alan hour never barked just watched. She does bark when strangers to her come up driveway and then gets close to us. I believe I got a good one.

good morning, 66 going to 81 raining and hard at times

Limited Codys walk but still managed to get all wet.

Moved the 16 ft trailer yesterday with the tractor and parked it behind the barn. Jacked it up and lowered the pintle hitch on the 3 point
Drove off down the hill and was surprised by the trailer coming down the hill overtaking me on the right side. It stopped when the jack dug into the grass after a while

Obviously did not lower the pintle hitch enough when driving forward and the trailer followed for a bit and then took off on its own

Good morning folks, its in the 50's here now and our high for today is less than 60 and rain is passing through. Mowed the lawn later yesterday for the billionth time this summer. This is the most mowings I've ever done here in a summer. Looked at a few camp property's yesterday and would have hiked into one this afternoon, but the rain has dampened those plans.
