Good morning!!!!

good morning all
slept in this morning, woke up by birds chirping, guess I was really tired
have a few things to get done this morning.
car is going into local service station to get the rear new shocks put on. They were cheap and with
new front ones, wanted them all working way they should. Hope station doesn't have problems like they had the
last time with my hydraulic sway bars. At 1100 a shock sure not taking it to dealer, not when the part costs 78 bucks.

so have no idea how long that will take, should be able to wait for it but after last time, not chancing that.
so my brother will pick me up and bring home.
where I climb the new ladder ever so carefully and see if I can work on those rv lights.
If I feel twingies climbing, will come right down. I'd rather smother Ken in tomatoes and send him up there.
He's not so small either but he's in a lot better shape than I am...

not sure I trust my 14yo helper with wiring. I know he's a budding motorhead and likes this stuff, and his father has almost a dozen
cars he fiddles with, but wires have to be stripped and not sure he has practice with that. Besides I need to test the fixture for power since two
are out; could be one loose/bad wire/connection. No sense replacing fixtures until confirming that.
and since the fixtures are slightly different than oems, and at least one hole will need to be drilled, and caulked properly, simple job could
get complicated. But not hard, though I don't like being on ladders at all.

Dennis, your porch is coming along wonderfully. Hope you get to put up your feet and relax out there, when you aren't doing ten
other things. Two a/c units, maybe it was fated? Thank goodness on pallets.

64 going up to 85 today, another picture perfect summer day

Good Morning from Central Texas,
At 5:20 have 77 degrees, 76.7 dew point. The usual dripping wet morning. May get a chance to spray today if the wind cooperates. Otherwise, about 1000 other things to catch up on - like everyone.
The USAF suspended use of the SIG M18 pistols (variant of the SIG P-320 series) after concerns that the pistol may discharge without the trigger being pulled. At least once incident / death was noted. The US immigration and customs service has also issued a permanent ban on the P-320 series.

Comment: Firearms aficionado's will likely disagree with me, but I do NOT like these hammerless style pistols. About a year ago, I purchased a used Bersa TPR 9c and will be selling / trading it in next chance I get. There is just (to me) something unnerving about these designs. I suppose I would not feel this way if I were shooting a lot / had more experience ? Not that hammerless designs are less safe ?
Hope all have a great day.

good morning, 70 going to 85 nice sunny day

Cleaned out an old brush pile and moved it up to the big pile. Today will continued to clean up what is left and run it over with the mower set on high to see what else is hiding

Good morning, the low is 56 and going to a high of 81°F. Wind SE 6 mph. Later in the morning the wind will be SW13 gusting to 25 mph.

I'll be cutting the grass today. I'll start about noon. This will be the last cutting on the old blades that I have sharpened twice.

I have a parcel to pick up in town, I'll incorporate that into the dump/town run tomorrow.

When I was placing the compost I forgot one spot. Will see if we have any black earth left over from when the gardener was here and use that in the hole.

Have a safe day all

@Buppies It is a hard disease, and the path is certainly not easy in my experience. When the time comes, I hope that I pass quickly and if not I hope that I will be lucky enough to have a loved one to help me in my time of need, the way you are. Unsung hero.

All the best,

Peter

Peter, nicely said.

Holly, Dona and all other spouses with medical challenges, lots of positive wishes sent your way.

brother picked me up in his BMW M850, which I barely fit into, and said just keep it til your car is ready.
He wants to drive his Corvette today anyway, I saw he had the cover off it in his garage.
gorgeous day, perfect day for top down

as much fun as it is to drive something with 600+hp, not easy to figure out how to drive it.
No such thing as a simple shift lever any more, now it is some multifunction crystal pod with overly complicated
functioning. Took me a while to find Drive. I'll go out and wash it, send it home cleaner than I got it.

too nice a day to stay inside, headed out
there is always weeding to be done

saw a coastal flood warning posted
no rain in near forecast
it seems a system from the South is banging into a front from the North and
forcing the winds Eastward.
Must be times of high tide, and now strong Eastward wind blowing the water up the coastal bays
and rivers. All the way up here.
the wind feature of WU is fun to look at

ok, now I'm headed out...

Morning all, 66 going to 85 and sunny.
Long , but good day at work yesterday.
Grilled up some steaks last night and ate out on the upper deck sine the weather was so nice.

At work we had a package go missing, USPS (not sure why the vendor sent is that way).
Not said someone picked it up at post office instead of it being delivered.
We needed it yesterday, so had more of the devices overnighted to us, since we don't go to the post office to pick stuff up.
Seems they gave our package to someone else, who opened it, saw it wasn't for them and luckily brought it back to the Post office, and then it finally got delivered to our mail room.

Jeep problem was a solenoid for variable valve timing and not the timing chain, so the bill was a lot smaller than expected!

Be well,

Our main road has lines for the first time ever.

Fawn is a lot larger now, have about 5 wandering around. When looking at game cam pics, the deer were incredibly curious about the corn(less) patch, investigating every day.
