Ct, 74 to start going to 88 or possibly over 90. Looks like evening thunderstorms.

Swim lessons for the kiddos today at 3 and looking at the lawn, well that needs mowing again. We have some burn spots so I’m hoping for some rain tonight.

Ken, I’m thinking that if Don could forward you the name of a reliable church in the area that is collecting money for the area flood victims that might be a good way to go.

Want to get my morning walk in before it gets too much warmer.

Outside chores done E muffin time.
Today I have meet with part store owner,no signs on improvements he promised months ago.
Plans for today...8 hours at part store afterwards yet to decided.

when I was going to college I could not afford a car, despite working six nights a week
at college cafeteria. But when I graduated I knew I needed a reliable car for work, and so I went
to local Toyota dealer and bought my first new car. 1971 Toyota corolla coupe in suntan yellow, four speed with
a walnut shift knob, and yes, a real hemi engine. A whopping 102hp! getting over a hundred back then was a big deal.
$2350 tax included out the door. I bet it's worth more now.

I remember getting my first car loan. Went to local bank, of which my father was on the board, and applied.
Was called and told to come in to sign paperwork. Paperwork was not done when I got there.
Senior VP of little bank asked me if I was going to pay this back on time.
yes, sir!
so he shook my hand, no paperwork, and out I went with a cashiers check to buy my new car.
A true handshake loan, funny you could actually do that back then
needless to say banker knew my father was backing up the loan.

66 this AM with 90s back in the picture again. Chance of late Tstorms.

Got a little seat time yesterday pick and dropping big rocks on the bridge project.
Not much else.
Todays agenda is a haircut and renew my license. Birthday is at the end of the week and I haven't got my real ID yet. I like to procrastinate Hoping I waited long enough to not have to deal with too much BS or lines.
That's all that is really on my agenda

Good morning, the low is 59 and going to 75°F. Wind NNE 8 mph. Sunny! After the fog burns off.

I think I will get after some roots that are infringing on the grass. Junior will run the chainsaw and I will hook them with the hoe and thumb. Lift them up as high as the hoe hydraulics will go, Junior cuts them off flush with the ground, then we roll them back into the ground and cover them with compost and fresh grass seed.

Wednesday we may go get another load of compost. One more load should finish off the side of the driveway, then one after that will do the back yard where the roots are.

I think I have a freezer here that I can cut the side out of for the floor in the trailer. 38X72". If not I know for a fact that there is one at the dump.

The odd couple lives in this house, I like to get moving at first light. Junior doesn't normally get moving until at least noon most days. We generally only do one job a day if no rain AND I feel like it. The driveway job is so I don't put my snow out on the township road like I have been doing for the past 30 years. The township isn't complaining, but I know it isn't legal.

Mowed areas closest to the house yesterday. Picking up groceries this morning. Cleaning the Minisplit cassette unit
Mowing some of the outer areas.

2 GD's are now going to Towson University come fall

D was notified she was a match for stem cell donation. She has been registered to donate for 10 years and this is the first match

Drew, not quite up on this but if stem cells are extracted from blood recovery is not long however bone marrow donation takes longer. She is going for the pre medical checkup end of the week so we will know more then
