Dropping like flies. Another acquaintance kicked the bouquet day before.
Went to High School with him.
We had the same birthday so we used to say we were twins separated at birth. It was funny at the time.
Didn't know he was ill. The big C got him.
Today starting out around 66 and going up to 80+.
At least shouldn't rain. It's done enough this year to ruin my cherries.
Gotta clean up the deck on GC2300 and cut some grass. If anything the lawn is benefitting from the regular rains.

good morning, 73 going to 85 sunny conditions nice morning

Water heater replacement completed. Installed isolation valves and unions on the water lines. Raised off the concrete floor on short stubs of PVC pipe, Dual anodes. Copper pipe crimped with Milwaukee crimper tool

Retina check up went well. No issues. Double sun glasses helped minimize the glare after dilation

Mowed some of the upper area

A trip to vineyard in VA may be on the agenda

Good Morning
It’s 74° and sunny, dew point is 68, no rain forecast, but hot.

Yesterday followed the plan, had a nice time at the RC club, there was a mid air collision with two identical planes, some experimentation with smoke, followed by whopper Wednesday at Burger King.

After I got home, I did some mowing with the Lazer, loaded grain into the barn, made sure the smoker was ready for this evening’s brisket.

Today starts with breakfast with the professor before hooking up the progressive mower and mowing the open areas, trimming and prepping the brisket, it will go in the smoker after this evenings RC club meeting.
I’m sure other stuff will pop up, curious to see what happens.

Morning all, 78 going to 89 and sunny, rain/storms later.
Got some work on the bicycles so son could go for a ride, need to put a new tune in one, maybe later.
played pickup sticks and watched more fawns playing around.
Put a coat of Oil on the acacia table, starting to look good again.

Need to put out more pool furniture, trim out the stiltgrass along the driveway and fix the last overflow from that swale. Maybe mow the side fields if I get time before the rain.

Worked on front low voltage lights, 1 fixed, 2 new on order. 8 years is a good run on these I guess.

be well,

Wing drying time on front stairs, finally able to fly away a few minutes later

forgot I needed gas in can on first trip so went back downtown and got gas for the car and the can.
nice to be able to keep windows down, 78 and through areas of shade with trees overhanging the road.
So you go from warm to cooler, warm to cooler. Nice.

decided on fish for July 4th and got some fried oysters I will refry on barbecue

now out to change air filter on rv gen and sharpen blades on electric trim mower.
that should complete necessary maintenance for today. tomorrow?...

somewhere I have a pair of 14YRC plugs which go in the generator, only one, and now I can't find where I put them.
so need to dig through some boxes. I went to order them and Amazon thankfully told me I already had them.

The crimping of the copper pipes is not that as clean looking as soldering would be

I agree. I only use the propress fittings where warranted, like wet pipes. They are more expensive, take up more room and don’t really save any time over soldering.

came in and took off soaked shirt. Enough of that.
but got the air filter changed in the rv generator and the mower blade sharpened.
then of course had to push the mower and that's when the sweating started.
but it's exactly the exercise I need, just not enough to make my face go beet red.

a baby was born today.
just my kind of baby...
friendship plant on left is grandmom, who had two daughters.
I took one daughter to Colorado with me and this daughter is the second one.
This daughter gave birth to a daughter today, the one on the right, which I transplanted with a spoon.
so granddaughter going to friends in Lancaster PA next week.
friendship plant aka dollar plant aka take along plant
fairly indestructible
and if you look carefully, grandmom is still pumping them out
