good morning all
looks like the high heat has gone and more normal mid 80's today.
slept well last night, but having problems with right arm. Whole thing hurts, like I strained
the muscles but I know I didn't. I'm back on full time statins and wonder if these new aches are med related.
when it's hard to pick up your coffee mug, you know something isn't right.

prayers for a good solution Buppies. Hard to imagine what it's like going through this.
I wish I was closer so I could volunteer to help.

June 26th, tonight's first big event of Bezos wedding in Venice.
Not sure if Popgadget's plane will get us there on time.
The invitation said no gifts, phew...

Good morning, the low is 61 and going to a high of 66°F. Wind ESE 11 mph. Cloudy now with showers later in the day.

The cats will enjoy the cooler temps. The youngest tom likes to lay underneath the 200 gallon oil tank. It is on the north side of the house and in shade all the time.

No more compost until a week this coming Wednesday. Next week is messed up what with the holiday on Tuesday. The dump is normally closed on Mondays and next week it'll be closed on Monday & Tuesday. The citidiots wont be going back until Tuesday except for the ones that take their holidays, I really do not want them witnessing what I am doing. Everything on the trailer is legal except for lights. The trailer is skinnier than the Dodge and the Dodge lights are visible from behind the trailer. It is a gray area I am playing in.

Wag, I went the opposite way. My once a year barber died, Haven't cut my hairs in 12 or so years. Stopped shaving before that.

Buppies, "Social services called said if I can not keep Holly under control they will take her." Since when is kidnapping legal? What do they expect you to do? Chain her up in the basement?

What kind of gift do you give someone who has 'everything'?

If the rain holds off then I will do the dump/town run today. If not today then tomorrow. I have ordered grass seed and will be applying that next week, too.

I think I will cut the grass today or tomorrow. There is no great hurry, it'll still be there when I get a round tuit.

Ken, your milkweed looks good...ours have mostly finished blooming. Wew're sending our monarhs your way.

Took the short trail to the river so Della could take a nice swim. I went in to my knees and found a fishing grub with hook before Della did...glad I did....water has warmed up a lot. Quite a climb back up the cliff to get to the trail at this access point.

I got a haircut this past weekend for a kiss. I gave a hug for a tip.

66 this morning headed to the mid 90s. One more day of heat then it will cool a little bit. Rain all around but not on us.

Conserve energy day. Mostly puttered around the shop a bit. Short walks with the dog and watch TV.
Todays plan is to pick up the wife at car return in Char. She's been gone about 2 weeks. It will be nice to have her home.

Time for a second cup.

Good Morning
78° and a high in the upper 80’s, chance of an airmass shower later in the day.

Yesterday’s trip went well. Dodged thunderstorms in both directions.
We rented a car and drove to Washington, PA to check on our plane that’s been there for maintenance for a year. It’s a pretty major undertaking, but is actually all coming together now.

The ride back to Pittsburgh was interesting, most of it was in extreme precipitation, going 25 mph on the interstate.
However, I’d much rather drive through those cells than do it in the plane!

Haven’t decided what I’ll get into today, I want to trim back some hedge rows that attack me when I’m on the Lazer, might be bearable enough to work outside today, we’ll see what happens.

Pictures coming in from Venice, Tom Brady, Oprah Winfrey, all the Kardashians there of course flaunting their bodies for commerce.
Unless Popgadget has a U-2 stored in his barn, don't think we'll get there on time.
will be interesting to see what politicians show up, Hollywood will always come for the free booze and air time.
whenever I order from Amazon I chuckle at the lifestyle this guy has thanks to folks like me.

Morning all, 80 going to 84 and sunny.
Did a little outside work and then thunder/lightning so came back in.
Looks like the heat is starting to break.
Changed forecast right before storm to 1" in an hour, got less than 1/4"

Got the citation for my sons accident, fine was $25, with fees etc. the bill was $179.

More insurance paperwork and college paperwork and now on a few more projects at work, so keeping busy, days go faster.

Having been to Venice numerous times, I feel sorry for the locals with Bezos and groupies there.

Maybe it will be a little easier to work outside tonight.
