57 this morning high in 60s maybe shower but I doubt it. Rhododendrons blooms swelling up grass still a no show. One small deer running around in lower yard geese come every evening to visit pond.

The humiity wasn't as bad as it sounded. I never got to the training. Catfish lunch was excellent!
Sorry about your trip to HD. I've experiencd that same issue with things not being in stock when the website says they were,

55 outside this AM, heading to mid 60's.
Got in late last night from the city. Surprised (not really) at how busy it was trying to get into the city in the afternoon. You would think traffic and people would be going in the opposite direction. Nope looked like all ways in and out were just crushed. Going back in reminded me how much time people waste commuting.
Nothing got done around the property yesterday. If it does not rain today, errands and nothing serious to get into.

Ct, 30 to start going to 51 ! Quite overcast now with a threat of rain but so far not much ! We are heading up to Vermont around 3, so hopefully the weather will cooperate! Our oldest son and family will be coming up tomorrow evening at some point, so hopefully the weather is Ok for them also !
Plans for today is to pack truck until Kathleen comes home and hopefully get a walk in between rain showers ! Maybe some odds and ends done around here !

Worked the finger in a bath of warm water with epson salt and was able to get some movement started. The outer joint is the worst affected it seem like
Had a good call with son in rehab. He seems finally ready. First time we have seen this after wife's many tears and prayers

Yeah, I am not a city mouse.
Although my profile has a location of Northern VA, I never considered ourselves part of it. Geographically speaking. But in the years we have been here. it has absorbed us. Slowly...methodically...growing ever closer. It's not one house or two, it is entire lots that used to be farms carved up and developed. Sometimes hundreds of houses. Sometimes "large" ten acre lots get developed with mega mansions. We also see infrastructures going in, warehouses, tens of thousands of square feet, data centers, storage, distribution you name it. Now it's all about power, the electrical kind and where is it coming from. There is a billion dollar project in the works for all that development. New lines, new stations, the original land and homeowners are in for another big wake up, soon. Too much money on the table to stop anything. It is change, and in this area, one needs to deal with it.
