Been good day all in all.
Finally wind decreasing but the last couple days trees got good pruning limbs branches down frozen in the snow going to long spring clean up.

Plans for the evening feet up small piece homemade blueberry pie with vanilla ice cream find who done it movie.

Don, I believe you still have one of your tractors, so I would think a bit more property would work for your garden plans ! How much would you want ? I’m thinking an extra acre would provide plenty of garden space !

I don't have any of my tractors. The tractors I drive are the garden clubs or at work. I can't bring either home. The land available would not be suited for a garden as it only extends the back yard 30'deep X 150'wide. A 8' fence would be needed to keep the deer out and that is not allowed. also an irrigation system would be needed which I am not interested in. Wildflowers and view blocking green scape would be my only interest.

Good evening all. 36ºF for the start, mostly clear, light breeze. Light wind, some clouds later in day, and high temp was 60ºF. Made coffee to start day, cleaned up ashes in insert, started fire, paid first bill of 2025. Went for bike ride. SIL came over and inspected roof, 69 dents from golf balls, need to redo pipe jacks on vents, couple of dents need to be tarred. Bike ride tomorrow need to get wheel barrow and wagon refilled for next week and more kindling. Also got fridge calendar up for 2025., and watched some football.
Dennis sorry you were still up, hope you got some sleep. Did the same thing at 5AM finally got back to sleep.
David hopefully no pondering at 2 AM!

Ron glad shopping went well. Hope you found something to do.
Thomas sorry about the surprise 3 inch snow, hope day went as planned.

spent the evening updating pictures and my log of what I do every day. Looking for pics of mileage on the Ranger, from the few I have, I only put about 5 miles per year on it, the last few yrs, but 12 miles per year on average. it's overdue for fluid changes.

Coffee is cooling in cup. 18° with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 21° with cloudy skies and chance of snow flurries. Found a project to work on yesterday. Install and new 120 volt receptacle in pole barn. Took about 3 hours to complete project. Much colder than I thought it was out there. Had to shovel about 1" snow off walkways. Spent rest of day cleaning house. I have projects to do. But its a little cold for them . May be good day to conserve energy.

Good morning, the low was supposed to get to 1, it is 6 now and going to a high of 9°F. They are forecasting a few flurries, but I don't see any accumulation.
There are snow squall warnings up, but none for me or points north.

I gotta make a quick trip to Sundridge today, shouldn't take more than an hour, then conserve energy for the rest of the day.

23 going to 35, then down to 16 tonight.

Went to Virginia Beach to meet with my sister. Easy drive both ways, even through the tunnel. We worked on matters of my mom's estate, and glad to say a very easy discussion.

Stopped in Newport News at a very good restaurant we had never visited for a late lunch/early dinner as it turned out and drove home through some rough wind and strange stormy clouds...Buppies' word calling them squalls fits perfectly.

My son had invited me on a hike in Shenandoah NP, one of my favorite trails, but I already had promised my sister we'd come. He got snowed on and sent pix.

Della needs some exercise after staying home all day yesterday.
