Today was a successful day. Got the dump run and town done including the bank Monday IF I remember I will stop at the garage and get my nuts tightened up (lug nuts retorqued), on my way to North Bay.

Changed over to a wireless internet service and YouTube tv. Should save a pretty good chunk of money each month

We just recently did the same thing ! We had DISH for TV in both the Ct home and the Vt home ! Both accounts were up to $98 plus per month ! We bought Apple TV boxes for both homes and stream off of the internet! We use the VPN from the Ct home so we are only paying $80 for both houses ! So far it has worked out well !

Good evening all. 31ºF for the start, mostly clear sky, light breeze.Light wind, moderate to brisk gusts, partly cloudy sky, and high temp was 60ºF. Rain has left the forecast for weekend, warm up is getting slowed down. Need to make more kindling, and get new tarp up and refill wood wagon and wheel barrow for next week. Made coffee to start day, work on bank reconciliation, done though November, need December's statement to finish. Got bike ride in and short nap. Will need to make some spending adjustments, cable bill and insurance will head the list for improvements.
Ron glad walks are snow free. Gotta love the newborns. Have fun with wifi plugs. Hope shopping went well. Nice jay.

Drew hope coffee got you going. Thanks for reminder, carbon monoxide is CO not CO2, doesn't take as much CO to kill you. I have a carbon monoxide detector near insert, and heat is electric heat pump.

Still up at 2 AM, couldn’t get to sleep.

Thinking about what it might take to convert garage into a master bedroom, master bath and laundry area. At 23x29 ft inside dimension, should be plenty big enough.
Would first build a detached garage on other side of house, at least 3 car including camper bay.
Because of larger I joists over garage, would ramp down around 7” from existing house floor to maintain an 8 ft room ceiling. Which would put new floor at about front porch height. Would need 7 ft handicap ramp inside to change floor levels. Not sure how I’d build the new floor up from the concrete slab (which slopes to front) or how would insulate. Also have to add heat and ac.

Just some 2 am pondering.

Coffee is done brewing. 24° with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 27° with some morning snow showers. Grocery shopping went good. Plenty of stock on shelves. Programmed 3 more WiFi plugs.One of them went on my Lithium battery charging in station in shop. Have it set to only stay on 2 hours at a time. Will see how that works out. Got a window bird feeder. Put it up in one of my kitchen windows. Will take awhile for birds to find it. Need to find something to do today.

Plans for today...4 hours at part store,afternoon scape off the 3" snow from driveway etc. from overnight that wasn't forecasted with tractor,most of all keep my ears from the wind.

25 outside right now, heading to lower 40's. Seems the weather people are all excited about some significant snow. LOL. For this area that is anywhere from an inch or more. People around here lose their heads if the roads are not clear and dry. We shall see.

Not much on the agenda today. More paperwork for the estates, more dollars to the lawyer.

Did a grocery run yesterday, walked not my dog and basically did nothing else. I think the real job filled in some other time. That should be kicking in once again, full time. Mixed feelings about that.

yesterday was a really lazy day and I accomplished nothing.
determined to get some walking in today
found that my old lace up New Balance walking shoes the most comfortable,
probably due to squared off toe and more room inside. They look dorky but
I'm sure past that point...

nice to look at calendar with mostly nothing there for January.
I did volunteer to take my handicapped friend to PT four times while his wife is
getting a new knee. They will sure have their hands full.

now of course I'm dreaming of being someplace warm
want to mentally move myself to one of David's happy hours, always warm there

cold wave is going to hit Florida this week, maybe enough to have the iguanas dropping out
of the trees
