Good morning!!!!

working on planning for repeat July 4th rv trip, heading to Cedarville Michigan
again to watch the July 4th fireworks with oldest brother.
going to plan two days at Ron's house (how's that for presumptuous....)
and am hoping he and I can take a day
or until my legs wear out, which sadly only takes a few hours, to visit the Ford auto museum.
I bet we could take some great pics there.

and I will remember to take dog biscuits for Sassy.
I wonder if she has chewed through all those dog toys I gave her last time.

I hope to stop near RS's home in Ohio, in a campground I stayed at last time in Mogadore.
haven't heard much from him
Hope to come back through Lancaster PA area, see friends there, and then return to watering my veggie garden.
which friends will thankfully have kept alive while I'm away.

Certainly am open to other visits, just PM me if you wish, I'll post the route at some point. Have to make reservations at the marina in
Cedarville MI, not many open spots. Being three blocks from my brother's summer home is super convenient. Can just drive my ebike to his house.
they are really long blocks up there...

I really should rig up a watering system with a timer. Even better have it be a smart system and let me control it from afar.
way over my pay grade, would need help with that for sure

has finally warmed up enough to get moving outside, pick up a few things at grocery store.

Good Morning
18° and forecast to double under increasingly cloudy skies.

Yesterday’s flight to Lancaster for brunch turned into lunch. When I got to the airport to get the little plane out, I remembered that it was the day that Santa comes to town via helicopter. All week parents bring presents for their kids to the airport for Santa to distribute on the big day. So there was close to 500 kids, their parents and all their cars clogging the works. Fortunately my hangar was not parked in, (it is just next to where the 3 Piper Cubs are parked facing the runway), but getting to the runway was interesting.

It was a great day to fly, clear and crisp, but also smooth.
We had a great view of the nuclear power plant in Pottstown as we passed by.

Got home in time to move some more stuff to hang on the walls of the old folks home, and put up some stained glass in the windows. Got another carryall load of firewood from the shed, and the fire place all set to light, with kindling and fire starter. But we went out to eat and never lit it.

Not sure what I’ll do today, but I have an idea how it will start. Son is here working on the house, he just said that the furnace blower in the shop doesn’t sound healthy, so after breakfast I’ll investigate that. Then we will se what comes next.

check, the storm that gave Gravenhurst 5' and you a foot only dumped 6" on me, half way between Huntsville and North Bay.

10 hours into the day and the only thing I've done is get breakfast down my neck.

Drew, we don't put 'eh' at the end of all sentences. Just some, eh?

LOL Siri frequently writes down something weird when I am dictating, and I always have to be vigilant. I proofread my post before I send it.

Have a good day everyone! Christmas is only a few days away now!🎉
I do not use Siri. But still have proof read my post. Sometimes even that is not enough.
Drew’s joke about “eh” fits me. My job sent me to Canada a lot. Usually had more than 1 work permit for jobs from Windsor to Toronto. When going to other places around USA I would be asked where I was from. Because of my accent. I kept my boat in Canada also. That may be why Siri can never get my quotes correct. I do not notice my accent as much as I did. Michiganders from upper peninsula have a similar accent. They are called Yoopers. I am called a Fudgie or Troll because I live under the bridge.

Morning all, 30 going up to 39 and calling for rain later.

Started work on the table join for a friend, got the end cuts done. Next step is routing to make the two pieces fit together better and bending each since they are a bit curled at the ends.

Did go out to dinner, but got very sick and had to take my nausea pills, x 2 which is unusual to take that many. Still not feeling right. Have to be careful with those as they sometimes cause temporary eyesight loss.
But today need to restring a star with rope lights as the rope on it has lost quite a few areas to dead bulbs. Now will be LED.

Got the light balls out and some wires run for when my wife decorates the bushes.

So finally saw plans for the ShadyBrook farms place, they sold off 80 acres and it will be an active 55 place.
This is where they have the huge drive through light show we will be taking our friends when they come down in January. Another Farm becomes housing.
My wife used to ride horses at the farm across the road from this one, sad most of the bigger farms are gone. Many are doing Agritaintment (what it's being called) to keep going, Farm experience, pubs, restaurants and stores to keep the rest of the farm whole.

Be well,

Good morning
45° and foggy after a day of drizzle yesterday. More rain today.
Yesterday was a slow paced day, did some small chores, played with Zoe a bit, did some graphic work and cut out some sandblast mask for the Rockman.
Went and looked at a low mileage but 10 year old Lexus with wife, literally belonged to a little old lady, now part of her estate.
Came home and started a fire, we sat in front of it until bed time.
Today starts with breakfast with the professor, then probably a stop at the airport to update the databases in the little plane, and reclaim the hat I left in it on Sunday.
I’ll make a decision, and likely an offer on the Lexus today, then see what else pops up.

Speaking of popping up, I use the premium version of Tapatalk, absolutely no ads on TBN.
Hope the lexus works out well. I had a chance at one with similar circumstances, my buddy's mother. They were wanting top dollar because his sister was involved, and it turned out she had a fairly expensive wreck in it, and that is why they were pulling her DL. Didn't end up buying it.

Well, the Snow engraven Hearst near our cottage finally quit, after dropping almost 5 feet! I’m here. I am stuck recovering from the surgery when I could be out with the tractor playing in all that stuff.😢

Oh well, the winter is still young yet. And I will be up there again, perhaps as early as Christmas.
Hope you get mended well soon! Prayers.

I'm behind. Trying hard at work to get caught up, but so much to do. My student worker bent some stuff on our new haas mill that we took apart and bent the way covers back into shape.
3 things I hate about cnc machining: way covers, dealing with coolant, and "need it yesterday" deadlines... Glad I don't have to deal with the 3rd one too much anymore.

Great pic's y'all!

Getting ready for church. The Lord has been good to me.

Take care and prayers for all.

66°F and .02 inches rain.

My short ribs were fall off the bone delicious.

Over the past couple weeks I lost the auto start capability of my generators. Concerning but not a show stopper. One vendor suggested my battery had aged out and needed replacing. That was on my list for yesterday. Putting around the transfer box and a wire fell lose. Yup that was the problem. The whole block was simply corroded to failure. Replaced that and both Gensets back to normal. Ended up redesigning and ordering parts for a complete rebuild. Of course the parts won’t be here until next year. Rust is a terrible thing, but a fact of life here.

Also fashioned a small storage unit for the Tundra. Big enough for some straps and tools. View attachment IMG_0324.jpg
More for after I get the cap so it will be secure

Prayers for at
Be safe
Have a great day
