good morning, 44 going to 55 much warmer nice

Picked up branches this morning from the lawn and brought them up to the edge of the driveway. Cody was all excited something new.

Picked up the fired heater and will get to that soon

Jacked up the beam some more. Slow and 2 quarter turns at a time. Up 1/2 an inch so far and flattening out the bow and low point. Good sign is the doors are going into alignment on upper floors

Frits, I wish I could jack up my bad back as successfully as you
are doing with your barn...I've lost two whole inches of height.

went over to take pics of used Lexus suv my neighbor is trying to sell, and wound up talking with another neighbor on that side
who was pretty interesting. Spent his professional career mostly with NJ criminally insane. We discussed our other crazy neighbor, the one
who came over and broke his front door glass. He said the guy was seriously bi-polar and this would happen again.

looked over the area for the new fence, have half a dozen plants I have to move, and several small trees to cut down.
Could have been worse, my formal gardens and the two expensive evergreen trees were just inside the line.
I might work on this later this afternoon. I also have a blackberry bush to dig up and give to my landlady.
Need to get some sun on my face.

Lights are up and wired.
Tree is on our living room.
Bushes out front trimmed.

I have lost hearing in my left ear for unknown reasons, to the Dr I go :-(

I hope Ted's wife pulls through this, Prayers and wishes sent for them.

Off to trim the grasses, though the wind today might make that a challenge to clean up.

So much easier with the 2 short ladders. On the other side hefting the big ladder around bushes was a real chore. 20+ hooks installed so I can use a pole going forward to put up/bring down, once I build a fixture for the pole.

Our Christmas gathering was a huge success. Smaller than usual, but quite nice.

No big plans for the day. Kick back and watch some football.

Ct, 32 to start going to 48 ! Heat wave out there ! Almost slept through going to the early service at church, got up just in time to go !

Muted sun today but muted is better than no sun ! Ron, how could you possibly say no to that cute face ?

Getting together with my FD friend Steve this afternoon for a couple of beers and a good cigar out by his outdoor fire place !
He also has a waterfall that he built into the bank behind his house ! Nice place to share some good conversation and a beer !

Are you going to move your new evergreens? if that close will they bother the fence?

no, I'm going right up to them with fence and stopping. I'll be long gone before those trees die...
actually stopping about a foot from new tree on right, it's still growing and needs some room.
I do have some other trees I planted that were made for screening but turned out to be tall and not very bushy.
wasn't a good choice for the spot and need annual pruning at top due to power lines above.
They have a poor prognosis.
since I planted them on neighbor's property, I really need to take them down. He's nuts and I want to eliminate all possible points
of contention.

cleaned out a birdhouse and got that rehung, raked a few leaves, painted those rusty shelves and then couldn't find a spot to store
the shelves, pretty full in there. If I put them back outside and put plants on them, they'll rust again. Maybe that is their fate.

came in and ran some wash, looks to be a quiet afternoon.

Good worship. I was song leader.
Good meal after, been 3 weeks since we were there.
Had fence post break off in my split rail in front, one of the ones that’s been replaced already. 2 rails on ground. Wind did it.
For now drove T post next to it, wire tie to post.
Then put Christmas lights on the fence.

Then stocked pellet box on porch, before rain comes and makes yard soft. Was down to 3 bags. Pellet stove ran out before we got home this afternoon.

Going to rest before evening service.

Good (Monday) morning. Overnight Low of 8.3C and it's presently 20.5C, partly sunny & fairly calm.

I'm 'planning' on a bit more pick-up-sticks this arvo... all a result of my procrastination this past Winter/Spring.

Morning:
It's supposed to be 35F out as of now my outdoor sensor has failed, could be low battery. Finishing my second cup of coffee and fixing to go outside. Just heard from the man that's going to be doing most of work swapping around and mounting my new rear tires on the Branson 8050, he's not going to be here till about noon. He is still working on combining some corn and is having issues with his old combine. Think I go put the york rake back on the Branson and stir the little bit of nuisance snow that we got about on the main driveway. And then wait and see how the day shapes up.

Well the tire guy got tied with with his combine so maybe Monday. Ended up using the back blade on the driveway and then dropped off the tire chains.
Oh well tomorrow is another day, as much as I don't feel like messing around with those tires I may end up doing so.
