Good morning!!!!

66°F and no rain.

Spent way too much time cussing out my electrical yesterday. I can replicate the problem, can work around the problem, but with loss of capacity, but I don’t know the exact cause of the problem in that what component is the problem. Unfortunately, getting the proper tech support is a problem right now. Of course it could be easily, more expensively fixed by replacing the whole inverter unit versus just a bad board or something. Best I can do right now is right out and hope.

Very nice Happy Hour in town. Of course everyone wanted to ogle my Tundra.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

Son locked his keys in the truck, so that was my wake up call this morning to bring over my key to 7/11 so he could finish his drive to school ....
Have you though of getting him a 'hide-a-key'. Little magnetic box that will hide just about anywhere and hold a key to open the doors.

The oil guy just left. 1801.1 L costs $2865.42 Canuck bux.
Pump that I relocated and hose reel and nozzle all working and not leaking. Pumped 6 gallons into my 7 gallon tank on the Kioti.
The power of prayer works. I was praying that we didn't get a lot of snow until the tank got filled. I didn't want to send Junior to the gas station with a Jerry can for OTR diesel.

Got camper winterized. snagglepuss helped.
all 3 cats sleeping, pebbles is on my lap, tiger is sleeping on his scratch pad, snagglepuss is asleep out the window on my pellet box.
gathered trail cam cards and saved the pics.

apparently snagglepuss has been camping out a lot next to the barn doors, hopefully that's where she's catching the mice going in and out.

Tiger just moved to my foot rest, between my legs.

Good (Wednesday) morning. Overnight Low was 16.1C and it's presently 17.4C, overcast with drizzle & calm. There was 0.4mm in the gauge @ 0800. Rain expected.

The annual "Wagtail Park Wood Stacking Festival" is done. (y) Strangely and somehow I had a leech attach itself to the back of my neck! I briefly saw it 'drop off' during the ground clean-up phase but really didn't put 2+2 together. I sure did notice it after all was done as I was bleeding like a stuck pig!

So, today is 'into town' day, first for a Veterans coffee get together, then for groceries.

That's about it, take care all.

Rain stopped early this morning

Before going down to get the tire on the truck rotated I wrote an online review. When I got there there was someone out in the parking lot greeting me and taking care of it. Definitely got their attention.
Changed the fuel filter on the van which can be a little tricky with the moisture sensor probe. Wanted to pull it out to avoid disconnecting it at the filter so it involved some disassembly to get some more slack in the line to do that. The dog eared hose clamps were the wrong size and once taken off they are not reusable. Searched and found some 13 mm and 15 mm screw type hose clamps designed for fuel hoses to not nick or cause an uneven spot when tightened.
Cleaned up around the filter and checked for leaks. Looked good
The transmission oil pan had metal fines in it. The shop showed me pictures so concerning for sure. The transmission hoses for the oil cooler were leaking so likely ran low on oil. It drives fine but watching out for slippage should that happen. A rebuilt transmission can wait
The vacuum pump was replaced also due to leaks. Seems the brakes are more powerful after the replacement so likely was due for the replacement.
Received the Brembo brake parts for the front brakes so that is the next project

D is handing off her assignment and copying management getting ready to leave end of week
High level of performance should be appreciated but guess what it is an embarrassment to many not performing at the same level. But the new department she is going to has a reputation for high performance.
She is making the management write apology for not recognizing her performance level much as it pains them

Good Evening
It’s 46° it a bit damp, even though it’s under a clear sky.
Today started with breakfast with the professor, wife joined us. Next was to stop at local farm where she has a display of alpaca goods for sale to restock.
By the time we got back home I only got to a few small chores before I got a call from my mechanical contractor buddy wanting me to help him set up some controls on a mini split system.
We stopped into a “Builders Liquidators” warehouse store, pretty interesting. A lot of tools Ryobi, DeWalt and Makita, a very large selection of water heaters and appliances, all at good prices. I bought a box of Milwaukee fence staples for half of what I paid at HD.
Had a late lunch at Mission BBQ, got home and started a fire, where I’m still sitting.
Tomorrow morning I’ve got to go to Martha’s Vineyard by way of Pittsburgh, hopefully there won’t be a lot of ATC delays.
