Got my stove putting out some warm heat. It is run on natural gas nowadays. Insurance wanted to raise rate to much to keep using it with wood. Plus we were traveling south for many years.
Sure feels good on a cold damp day.

Looks nice inside. Thanks for sharing the pictures! I find that marketing materials can be hard to interpret some times.

That m/kWh number seems on the low side, given other EVs today. I would be interested in if/how it changes as you and your wife drive it more.

All the best,

Peter
Reading the article was interesting. The Caddy was the closest to what we have. Ours is the dual motored awd with the wide 21" tires.
Also non of our terrain is level it's all rolling hills and our driveway is an energy hog, coming up at 10 mph used more energy then cruising at 55mph.
Per that article many of the tested vehicles had much higher m/kwh then the GM's.

Drew, I sorta agree. Neighbor rear of has numerous clumps of overgrown bamboo and other things. She is in process of clearing much of it. Excavator type machine with hydraulic mulching head. Told me it was $1500 for 8 hour day. Didn’t ask, but believe the guy is a family friend. He doesn’t work there every day.
As for mine, a the cumulative results of various factors. That area of tall guinea grass near the road is only area I’ve never completely mowed before. It was part of the area I rented to potato farmer. He left it much rougher than I realized and this last year or so the guinea grass has taken over. When it started I didn’t have operational rotary mower and my tractor being down almost a year surely didn’t help.
That area I got stuck last week used to get mowed until I let the farmer plant some sort of Mexican sunflower. Over the years since I managed to eliminate most of it, contributing to demise of my Rhino mower. This year, it took advantage. Likely never get it eliminated as it is down in an area I’ll never get, even with big equipment, as it reseeds.
I need more patience. It has been so rainy and wet that I am not giving enough time to dry out and then when things are going well i get carried away. I’ll win, but over time. 😁
Any chance of getting permission for a controlled burn?

Just a chilly overcast day.
I spent morning going thru a stack of paper, stuff that comes in and I didn't want to deal with at the time, so it goes on the pile. most of the pile ended up being either shreded, or thrown in recycle. Unfortunately we are still on a burn ban or i would have a fire going outside and getting rid of some of it that way.
Wanted to clean garage, but haven't gotten to it yet.

Lou, I'm sure the high tire pressure is to max out mpg but I'd try softening that a bit.
EVs are much heavier, likely the reason but I think tires over 20 inches usually give you so little sidewall
they are vulnerable to potholes.

young man finishing up with my car. Meanwhile I loaded driveway scraper onto trailer and will take it to my stepbrother two miles away
tomorrow morning. Since I'm giving the Gravely away, nothing to pull scraper with and my stepbrother has a gravel driveway it works well with.
and now, finally, drum roll, enough room to put car in garage.

Went to McAllen TX and Mesa, AZ. During our stays at these places we would travel to other places like CA. We took up to a month travel to and from the 2 main destinations.

Drew, shuffled stuff in my garage and got golf cart where I can take it out the other door.
Was on a throw away spree and filled my trash can, which didn’t get picked up today. Guess they a day behind from Monday. Should be able to get car in also.
Got rid of 1 stack of papers in office. Shredded a bunch.
