good morning all
30 going up to 53 in much cooler weather coming in

getting coffee and looked up and said what kind of bug is that?
actually six lady bugs apparently gathering for a snooze
they were promptly moved to my vacuum bag
I get a lot of lady bugs coming in, probably should recaulk outside of windows, no idea where the hole is

yesterday ran the generator and put the battery charger on the battery.
it's so small charger goes green after only a few minutes. Never sure whether gen charges its own battery when running
so I assume not.

hmm, actually seven bugs when I zoom in.

Good morning TBN!!
45 this morning and going to be a upper 50s this afternoon. Gonna be a nasty day tomorrow.
9k steps yesterday a good chunk of them around the garage. Puttering and putting me buggy in. Mostly gas , it is a rail buggy much like a VW only smaller, offroad, and powered by a moped engine. It's a fun only type of machine
Wife had gone out to the grocery store and came back telling me about a power pole up the street. Rode up on the 4 wheeler. There were 2 pieces. One about 15 feet long and the rest was about 25 feet. Went back with her in the truck and I on the tractor. Picked up the smaller piece and put it in the back of the truck and chained the other to the 3 ph and away we went. Not sure what I will do with them but they are nice to have around. Probably line the drive with them but wait until we get our bridge repaired, in case there is a use.
Not sure what is in store for the day. Certainly will be some walking and probably tear in to the buggy. Nicked a gas line that leaked a little. Smelled like turpentine so as expected a carb rebuild and fuel flush. It hasn't run in 5 or 6 years but I am feeling ambitious right now so we will see.

Coffee about ready for a refill and dog doesn't like to walk by himself So up and at em'.

Mostly, I bet you had many special memories yesterday.

Monday, our New York son was still here, so we took him to Torchy's and he pigged out. Yesterday, the mountains were calling. I needed to complete a spur segment of a trail I had skipped 3 years ago for my work on the Shenandoah 500. It was a beautiful hike to get there. Took Della on her longest hike so far. She loved it.

Looks alot like my dog. My wife spends a bunch of money on toys for him. I throw a stick!!

what was interesting was how easily that pickup truck flipped over.
I watch a lot of youtube crash videos, if only to figure out how to avoid them, and pickup trucks
are always flipping over due to high center of gravity.
That curb was what maybe one foot? Enough to launch the truck.

all the more reason to wear a seatbelt for sure

Happy, dogs love sticks and it can even be a well chewed on one!

34 this morning a little chilly rain tomorrow good dose to over one in. Got over 400 tons down today surface mix. Contractor said we did side road wrong made a big deal until found out curb wrong stone wrong he left.

Sofi our last golden would retrieve sticks or destroy them by chewing them in half.
Great dog miss her. Kirk Herbstreet of ESPN did great tribute to his golden Ben brought tears to my eyes. Dogs are heavens angels.
