Son texted me that he made it home. Little over 10 hours to make the 600+miles trip. He does not go to work until 5pm today. Been an interesting week with me caring for Son’s 9 month old Border Collie while he was in Washington state. Way too much dog for Sassy and me.

Son thinks pebbles getting pink eye, we might cut trip short and head home. Spent nice weekend visiting old friends.

good morning, raining 61 going to 68

worked on the binding kitchen door. Sharpened a couple of chisels. Set the striker plate a little deeper and shaved off high spots. Rotated the hinge pins to a different wear side. They did not seam to worn however. But fixed and works good again

It sounds like our southern friends had some devastating floods! Prayers to all affected by all that rain !

Going for early morning walk and then some yard work I shoveled all those mushrooms into the wheel barrow yesterday and maybe a few more today ! I needed to do that to cut the lawn ! Hopefully cut it today !

Buckeye, he did not say how roads were. He took US23 to Columbus. Then 33 to I77. Not sure how he got around 33 closing near I77.
