Good afternoon! 92˚F 103˚ Heat Index only going up a few more degrees before we have a 35% chance of a welcome thunderstorm at 4PM.

Finished putting all the moved garage stuff in the new garage cabinets with room to spare. Garage looks much cleaner and organized now, wife is happy. A day of rest then back on to work on the to-do list.

88 deg and sunny. no rain here.
I watered garden last night hoping it would produce rain, but no luck. Guess I should have washed a car also for better odds.

Had blue screen of death on church streaming computer yesterday, so spent time there getting it going again. Worked ok for worship today. Good worship. After service there was a baby shower for someone having twins, so was almost all guys at lunch today.

upboxed the Eufy cam and have it charging. hope running it upside down is ok for charging. set up the APP.

Still haven't heard from a friend of a friend who might be able to look at the AC unit. I think I know enough to check it, but not this afternoon. Did do some looking last night, and watched a bunch of youtube videos. ACservicetech on youtube has some really good videos.

successful afternoon but very sweated out and overheated.
got the new table into the rv, then pushed some brush piles with Kubota, went over to another friend
and pushed her dirt pile, got it all done.
sent home with a cold piece of watermelon, enjoying that now

even though I picked this morning, found five more tomatoes waiting for me

Hard to believe my furry little boy is 4 years old today. Still acts like a puppy, most days

July has been so hot that one child has died every other day due to being left in hot cars.

now when I go through parking lots, I kind of look around to see if any kids in cars...
oh but I was only going to be a minute....

Another one of these tragedies on news not long ago, distracted parent “forgot” child in rear.
So I remarked to Sophie, seems maybe justication for putting kids in rear seat was safety, but I have to wonder when the kids were up front how many were forgotten. Wonder if. There is a tally someplace, front seat losses vs back seat deaths?
