Good morning!!!!

My wife shops, even for food. Examines, compares, reads stuff....who does that? LOL. I did get a new jug of water for the water dispenser. Yeah...going through that like crazy.
My wife does the same thing. I want to get it over with. Now tools is a different story for me but not food shopping. She developed that habit I think out of necessity shopping for family of 11 for a long time. Having kids close in age means at one point there were lots of teens eating like there is no tomorrow. Two fridges, two freezers etc you get my drift.

Wondering what you guys are doing for your TV ? We have had DISH for the last few years in both Ct and Vt. Last month our oldest son bought us an Apple TV box so we could stream since we have fiber optic. The DISH was costing us $98 plus per month and the same in Vt ! We now only pay $80 plus and have aHulu and Prime and Disney. We are planning to do the same in Vt, and my son said we can use our VPN and watch everything in Vt that we watch in Ct. so going from
almost $200 per month down to $80 plus ! Only problem is we won’t get Bermont news and weather that way ! No big deal IMO !
Good morning!

Scott VT, Just had the TV guys redo all the audio video at the new house. For TV their choice, which also gets the local channels, is YouTube TV for only $70 per month. First 5 days free so we can check it out. It runs by wifi so no cables required, but it only works on Smart TVs.

They only found one speaker not working - a rock speaker by the pool that he remembers putting in 10 years ago.

Buppies, the dehydration will sneak up on you and once it gets a hold the only way out is an IV at the ER. I've been there twice. Now, besides drinking plenty of water, I also have a low sodium V8 and I take a magnesium pill - so far so good.

Today will be the last time I mow the yard at the old house if closing is successful next week.

Neighborhood Welcome party this evening.

Friend of a Friend of mine just launched a product called "True Hydration".

They have a web site, says just pay shipping for a sample. Not sure what that cost is.

Zero Sodium, Zero Sugar, Zero calories, 12 oz, Calcium 150mg, Magnesium 150mg, Chloride 310mg and Potassium 360mg.

Various flavors, so far I am trying Lemonade/Lemongrass.

I am trying this because water just cycles through me. Too quickly.

Just came in for a break, need to get one more horse run-in cleaned out. Pool needs water, evaporation is now a problem.

Morning all, 85 going to 96 and sunny. starting to get a bit warm.
Got more watering done with spot sprayer and cart setup. Working well now, go through 16 gallons pretty fast.
Did more work on jointing the two slabs. Router accident left a mark on one edge, will be easy to clean up after joining. Using my little door plane to get the last of the high spots.

Buppies please be more careful- ambulance do not make good taxis.

Today will be getting son ready for 2 weeks in NYC for his TV script writing class.

Be well,
Still a big gap

88F with abundant sunshine @ 10:30, supposedly heading up to around 92F for the high. High likelihood that we beat that.

Was still 80F @ 22:00 last night, and had only cooled off to 78F by 23:00 when I walked up to the shop to lock up and retrieve The Woman's car.

Was a chill 75F in the shop when I got up there yesterday ... (y)

Got the needle scaling finished up on the new hitch for the Cub while I waited on the top-coat paint to dry before giving it a second coat.

Also ran the file on the edges of the newly sharpened blades to flatten them out.

Ran down to the corner and collected the mail on the way back in.

Fox was sitting in the middle of the driveway as I came back in, scratching himself. It headed in to the culvert pipe that runs under the driveway going up to the gas well.

Finally got the 2nd coat put on late afternoon.

Woman came up and gave me a hand putting the ROPS back in place and adjusting it so I could get the bolts put in and get it bolted down. That went smoother than I could have hoped for. Still need to look up the torque specs for those bolts.

Took measurements of the bolt spacing on the seat to make bracket to move the seat forward then reinstalled the seat.

Connected up the negative battery terminal and just barely ticked the key over to the "Start" position ... and she fired right off !

Purring like a little kitten ... (y)

Woman was hot to trot to get some watering done so we headed down and I showed Her how to connect up the Water Buffalo and get it filling.

Took about 10 minutes to fill that up and then as I was about to connect it up to the Cub to move it into position for Her to water I realized that I hadn't put the old hitch back on ... so I headed up to the shop with the Cub and reinstalled the old hitch.

Came back down and moved The Buffalo over by the east planting bed and She started watering there.

Then I headed up and started mowing the front lawn which had gotten pretty long.

Fox came out again and was lying in the middle of the road, on the paved portion ... about 100' from where I was mowing.

Refueled the right tank on the Cub.

Woman got the east, lower part of northeast, and the hosta planting bed under the maple watered before She had enough of the heat and went inside.

I drained the last 6 or 7 cans worth out of the Buffalo and finished that up before hooking up and moving it around back to be refilled.

Then I went back to mowing the front. Got that about 75% - 80% done before I knocked off and called it a day.

Bluebird in Nest Box No. 2 now has 2 eggs laid for the 2nd batch this year.

Zucchini, yellow squash, cucumbers, and okra all coming up.

Still no signs of any groundhogs down here around the house.

On agenda for today, in no particular order:

Dole out another weeks worth of meds.

Finish up mowing the front lawn.

Refill the Water Buffalo, do some more watering.

Work on new hitch for Cub.

Get steel cut and drilled for new brackets to move the seat forward on the Cub.

Move friend's grapple up to the shop for straightening.

That will involve using the rosebud torch ... so it will likely won't happen until late at night. IOW, it will be the last thing I do for the day before closing up and leaving, due to the amount of heat it puts out.

Maybe a trip down to Menard's for those additional soaker hoses.

Attic fan just kicked on ... that's about an hour early. Now 90F.

It was still running @ 22:00 last night (usually it shuts off by 21:00)

Hope everyone is staying cool and remembering to hydrate ... (y)

rsw, I damaged Acetylene regulators using too large rosebuds. The internals don't like acetone being drawn up with the flow. The largest welding bottles can have larger flows. Mine are half size.
