I agree on soft close and self closing is even nicer. Quieter too.
I will choose those, when I get the nuts to tackle my kitchen remodel. I have built-in-place cabinets (from the 60's I'm betting). They're all built together and WILL NOT be fun to pull apart. I'd just do the floor cabinets and counter top, but I want to pull out the plaster and insulate the one last cold wall in this 100 yo house.

cleaned up the yard, saw some rust on trailer, got some spray oil and worked on that,
looked like tires a little low, pulled out Makita portable air pump and yup, 38 pounds in a 50 pound tire.
So I put 48 in each. Hasn't moved in months, really should roll it ahead a foot to not flat spot the tire.

felt nice to be outside with sun on my face. Ground is soggy wet

So this is my 1st pool pump programming. Likely different from many of you. Being totally off grid, I have to be very power consumption aware. At almost 7kwh per day, this may be a bit ambitious for winter. Will keep an eye on it. Notice I am only running 8 hrs/day. The shoulder hours are good for summer, may need adjustment for winter.
My goal is to awaken in the morning with power without having to run the generator and hope we get enough sun that day to repeat.

Guess I probably should try to figure out gal/hr movement, but survived in ignorance previous pump so maybe not.

41° rainy/drizzly grey and crappy out, same thing for tomorrow. Sunshine for a few days starting Sunday 👍
Took some time this morning to put some tools away and do a general cleaning of the workshop.
Gathered the recycling and trash for tomorrow’s dump run.
Mrs making a roast chicken for supper tonight and leftovers/soup this weekend.

Everyone enjoy your evening and the weekend
Stay safe

As far as wooden drawers on wood slides;
my thoughts are not very kind on those, they were fine for there day (50's and 60's).
Lou,
I know you guys are talking about kitchen cabinets and hardware, but when I made a cherry and walnut highboy for our family room, I used delrin AF slides dadoed into the cabinet carcase. I dadoed matching grooves in the draws that pullout. So not wood on wood, wood on delrin AF, which will last way longer than me !;)

Putting steel hardware or draw slides on a nice custom piece just seems wrong to me, JMO !
