Coffee is brewing. 23° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 37° with clouds moving in afternoon. Got parts ordered for new to me tractor. Then started checking it over. Cleaned battery terminals. Lube pedal linkages. Decided to put ROP up. Found that bolt that hold it to tractor frame were loose. Hmm, I wonder what my original tractor is like. Yup, Just as loose. Added those bolt to my annual check list. More of the same checking over both tractors today.

29 going to 51, never made it out of 40s yesterday.

Ron, reminds me to check the ROPS bolts, too. Where I used to park my tractor, I always had to lower the ROPS to fit under, so then had to raise them and tighten bolts every use. Since our horses are gone, have a better place to keep tractor, and haven't touched them for several years.

I caught my wife's cold...first one I've had in years, IIRC. Tried to "hike it out of my system" yesterday, and I actually felt much better afterwards, but not now.

I don't know why my truck windshield still develops a light foggy film on the inside after all these years...don't really notice it except at night with headlights approaching, and then usually forget by the next morning. Cleaned it up real well yesterday...and all the other windows.

Plan to search for the Geminids shower tonight.

Good morning, the low temp is 21 and going to a high of 23°F. Wind W 9 mph. Sunny!

I have the rest of the driveways to scrape this morning, then town and dump run. Should be done scraping by noon. The temperature for the next two days will be above freezing.Better to do it now than to wait until the snow melts into a sloppy mess, then freezes into icy
ankle busting ruts.

So far this Christmas I have stayed away from the sweets.
On Nov. 9 I weighed 249 lbs, yesterday I weighed 246 lbs. I must be doing something right. The goal is 220 by next June.

Good morning! 53˚F in central Texas, Cloudy, winds from the East, it will stay in the 50s all day.

Yesterday's PT had me miss FireWise but priorities rule.

I have a new respect for Realtors that keep a deal together through closing, but I still think they should be paid hourly instead of %.

Mostly you will need the lawyer to get you through probate which includes a list of inventory of all assets that a beneficiary is not named or not jointly owned. You should leave the first meeting with the judge with a document called The Letters of Testamentary - it allows you to conduct business on probate assets. I am assuming you are named as the executor.

Buppies, I am not sure about southern Ontario, but in northern Ontario the asphalt plants have all been shut down and winterized.
Individual ones will open in a dire emergency, but otherwise they are closed for the season.

should be a nice day, sunny up to high 40's.

I have a very odd job this morning.
I need to be a porch pirate.
terrible timing sending Omaha steaks to old friend.
They left for Florida yesterday, day steaks arrived.
I drove over there yesterday afternoon to pick them up but miscommunicated with son, who has cameras on all their houses, that
the delivery he said he just got was at HIS house, not his parents. Sigh.
So back out I go today to bring this big cooler home, guess I'll have to unpack it, and then take it to them this weekend.

having lunch with other old friends at restaurant in Peddlers Village. It will likely be very crowded and noisy but I'm staying positive.
At least we could get a reservation.
